I’m losing my mind right now that one of my fave crackpot theories might actually turn out to be true. God help them if they’re misleading us! Ever since the moment Bae went through the beanhole, I thought he’d gone to Neverland. If this actually happens, I’ll be beside myself. ๐
Phee!!! Can we start the Happy Neverland Bean Dance yet? ๐ ๐
๐ Part of me is trying to stay calm and say, “don’t count your beans before they sprout”. ๐ But a land a boy went to that allows him to still be alive 100s of years later and said boy knows Captain Hook…I just can’t think of anything else it could possibly be referring to other than Neverland. I mean, I know that Hook recently said that his boat has seen “many glittering shores”, but how many other lands prevent aging the way Neverland does? So it’s gotta be! ๐

I’m calling Lost Boy merely because the writers said no Peter Pan this season
I think they just meant that we won’t actually see Peter Pan this season. That means no Neverland flashbacks, but it doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t see the adult version of him. K&H interview answers are like a Seer’s prophecy, the words can seemingly mean one thing, but actually allude to another. ๐
[adrotate group="5"]February 18, 2013 at 6:41 am #173971MysteryKat25ParticipantGlad to see one of my favorite theories is at least 50% accurate! Rumple occasionally referred to Bae as a “lost boy” and there were just WAY too many clues pointing to Neverland to be a mistake (the most important of which was the non-aging thing).
Still hoping for Nealfire Pan but could see it going either way. Now the question remains as to his relationship with Hook, what he does and doesn’t know about him / his mother, and whose side he’s on now in the Rumple vs. Hook showdown.
The writers could easily have meant that they won’t be *showing* us Peter Pan in flashbacks and we may or may not get him to outright say in the next ep which he is (though I would think Emma would have a few more questions for him so maybe he’ll pull a Henry and say “I’m not [Peter Pan]” like Henry told Emma in the pilot “I’m not Pinocchio” but we’ll see.
Eddie & Adam have always said that Peter Pan was their favorite story and they were waiting on the rights to everything. That’s why I don’t get the Hook hate (at least the stuff directed at him because he was “new” this year and they wanted the focus to be on the main characters). If they could have had their big story arc with these characters last year, they very well might have, or at least laid the groundwork for it.
We also originally heard that we wouldn’t be meeting Henry’s father for ages, but then poof: they get the rights and bam, Bae shows up (pretty sure they always knew they wanted it to be Bae, and to explain the time gap they were praying they could eventually show Neverland). Also since Peter is their favorite character it would make total sense.
Kudos to those who have found all sorts of other random clues supporting the Peter / Neverland theory! Wish we didn’t have to wait 2 weeks to find out what he actually says about it. I’ve been waiting for Neverland since Hook was introduced!

February 18, 2013 at 1:22 pm #174032tiara_roseParticipantI have the same feeling that she want to kill Cora and not Snow. She said that she want that she stand out of the way. I think she is trying to protect Henry too lose the person he loves most and get like herself.

One could hope, after all she did kill her father but it was probably just glee that she would have an assassin at her beckon and call.
February 18, 2013 at 1:26 pm #174035RumplesGirlKeymasteri just saw this and sorry I can’t read through everyone’s reactions (running late for class) but OMG. I knew it. NealFire Pan. I knew he had to go to another world first.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 18, 2013 at 3:00 pm #174063SlurpeezParticipantIn addition to the spoiler from the promo, there were several hints in Manhattan that made me think Nealfire could also be Peter Pan. First, Rumple said that his son had been on the run for a long time. Also, when Rumple offered to turn back the clock and make his son 14 again, Neal had a funny expression on his face and said, “14, why would I want to be 14 again?” Neal likely spent centuries stuck in perpetual adolescence, and probably had to work really hard to grow up.

February 18, 2013 at 3:21 pm #174070PanTheManParticipantI really hope to see Neal/Bae also add Peter Pan to his list of identities. I think it could be more likely that he’s just one of the Lost Boys.
Hook is my ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIE. Peter Pan leaves Neverland, grows up, and has children. K&H could be going that direction and i would love it.
But! Since we are getting so good at predicting – Baelfire being Neal and Henry’s father – i have to think K&H are getting ready to throw some major twists at us that we won’t see coming. Here’s hoping Baelfire is also Peter Pan! It would also kind of explain the forest green colors Neal is always wearing.

Speaking of green, I just rewatched Manhattan and noticed a few bright green items in his apartment. The hallway outside and his window sill are painted green. His TV is, like, Kermit green and stands out like a beacon in the middle of the apartment. The beads on the dreamcatcher are green. At one point there’s a shelf behind Neal, and it’s all lit up in green. There’s a bright green packet of chips, (I think) on the coffee table, and a little footstool thingo that has a green top on it in that same shot too. And there’s a green plant out on the fire escape. Obviously green isn’t the only colour in there, but once I’d noticed the TV, which was very prominent, it drew my attention to all the green.
February 18, 2013 at 4:57 pm #174085RumplesGirlKeymasterI know the creators said we wouldn’t see Peter Pan this season, but that doesn’t mean we won’t “see” him. In the promo, NealFire says “to make a long story short” meaning that their is a very long story to tell, but we aren’t going to get it right now. They could build up the idea that he was in Neverland and then only next season will we actually get the story of him being Peter Pan. I think it’s far more likely that he’s Pan instead of a Lost Boy.
