I don’t think Neal with be Peter Pan as well as Bae I reckon he will be just one of the lost boys cause i kinda want Peter to be someone else and still be a kid
[adrotate group="5"]February 19, 2013 at 10:49 pm #174356angiebelleParticipantYeah, I am starting to wonder if maybe he was just a lost boy and not Pan himself. I’d actually like that better. Maybe the reason he ended up in Neverland rather than a “land without magic” is because he went through without his dad, therefore becoming a lost boy. I think I’d like that better. While I do like the movie Hook, I’d actually prefer that Peter Pan *didn’t* grow up. He was always so against it.

From the promo Bae does show concern for Rumple. Maybe with the Sneak Peeks we get to hear a little more of what the relationship between Hook and Bae was like. I’m hoping they go for it all and have him be Peter Pan but even if he’s a just another Lost Boy I don’t think they’d be the best of buddies. If Nealfire is Peter Pan also I wonder if when he gets to Storybrooke he’ll be able to fly again?
February 20, 2013 at 1:43 am #174374Killian JonesParticipantHere’s a link to show some intresting things supporting this theory, that line from the newest promo has me really hoping that Bae is also Peter. Peter Pan vs Captain Hook this Sunday?

Trust me, until i saw that promo, i was one of the biggest haters of that theory, but i think it could work. If they do, i don’t think they will ever say it because of copyright issues. I think they will just reveal that Neal was in Neverland for a long time and that he had a lot of history with Hook and let us fill in the blanks there. Besides, I think him being Pan would explain a lot about the pictures of him with the sword. I mean it would be a really big cop out if the writers had him go out for a big battle just to realize he barely knows what he's doing.
Another thing though, if Neal is Pan then wouldn’t that mean he had like three hundred years of kicking Hooks butt on a semi-regular basis (although according to the books in the storybrooke library, that’s not exactly hard)? Logically, wouldn’t that mean he has A LOT more experiences with swordplay then David? I so want to see that sparing session. David would be kind of upset because he is so used to being the best. Henry would think it was awesome and Emma would just be done with the weirdness that had become her life. And just think, wouldn’t it be kind of ironic if Nealfire was one of the best fighters in the show, since all this came from a desire for his dad to keep him OUT of the fight?
February 20, 2013 at 2:40 am #174381jenParticipantI think it would be awesome if Hook and Neal ended up being allies. The writers are known for mixing things up with the stories that we know. If I look back at the Tallahassee episode I think when Hook was talking about the lost boys it wasn’t in hatred but in sympathy. Hook as a surrogate father to Neal? That would really get the feud going between Hook and Rumple.

I’ve often thought that Hook and Neal would start off as enemies: Neal knows his mother ran off with a pirate, so this would be his chance to get revenge on Hook. But if Hook tells NealFire about Milah (and that she died at Rumple’s hand) it would just add fuel to Neal’s anger at Rumple. And would make for some very interesting episodes. BUT, given that in the promo Neal says “There must be something we can do to save him (Rumple)” I’m not sure if he’s actually against Rumple so much as just VERY angry.

If they have the rights to use Hook, they’d have the rights to use anything and everything from the Peter Pan story. If they don’t blatantly state or show anything about Neverland just yet, it would be because they’ve just dropped one major bombshell about Neal’s identity and they wanna let the dust settle a bit from that before dropping the next one. Having him say he met Hook in another land is enough to get fans speculating about the possibility, while the show still remains focused on the current situation. I think if they go to Neverland at all this season, it may be in the finale, so they can end the season with, “Oh BTW, here’s Bae in Neverland, and look, here comes Hook’s ship. Kbai, see yas next season.”
And just think, wouldn’t it be kind of ironic if Nealfire was one of the best fighters in the show, since all this came from a desire for his dad to keep him OUT of the fight?
That would be delightfully ironic! I can see them going in this direction, making him an accomplished fighter, because going by his comment to Emma in Manhattan, right before he goes out to speak to Henry, they’re going for a, “This screwed up cycle of screw ups ends here,” theme. Emma and Nealfire aren’t gonna let Henry grow up feeling abandoned like they both did. And Nealfire can end the line of “cowards” in his family too.

And wow look at Henry he’d have the benefit of learning from his dad and both his grandfathers? Plus he probably has the potential to wield magic? I know it’s too much to ask for but I want to see Neal fight Hook this weekend after he attacks Rumple.

I’m totally against that very idea. Eeerk. I don’t want Neal to befriend thak idiotic “hottie”
Seriously, if the writers take that route I will be very pissed off. -
