I don’t think it will work that way. With what we saw in the rest of the promo, Neal kind of makes it clear that, although he can’t stand the man, he doesn’t want him dead.

That’s why I think after he finds out about Millah, it will pretty much decimate any chance of them ever being on good terms again, but I don’t see him teaming up with Hook. Not so much because he wouldn’t be angry enough, but because Neal is “the better man” and seems like the kind to always try and do the right thing (which he was with Emma, even it may not have worked out that way). Teaming up with Hook to kill his father would definitely work counter to that.
