so I’d been thinking about this for awhile and there really isn’t an appreciative post of Hook when he’s tied up. so I made 3 picspams of the times he’s been tied up on Once. 😀 just thought I’d share.
Love it!
😀 Thanks 🙂

Unfortunately though, because of several reasons, I don’t think they’re lining him up to be Peter Pan. I think they might be lining him up to be Emma's opposite. Think about it. She's the savior, so who will that make him. I think they're lining him up to be the devil. I hope I'm wrong, I wouldn't like that, at all.

I’m not sure about the devil analogy but I definitely agree that there will be no Peter Pan on this show. I think Rumpel already fills that role anyway. Adam & Eddie even said in a recent interview that Peter Pan will never be on this show.

Do you have the link to that interview?
Last I heard, about a week or 2 ago, K&H said Peter Pan would not appear in S2…..they didn’t say he would never appear on the show, as far as I know…..????January 14, 2013 at 6:18 am #168232sam993ParticipantHook was interesting in tonight episode. I think he didn’t defend himself when Rumple kept on hitting him is because that’s how he could feel again. He’s been bottled up for so long that having someone hit him, in a way, damaged a barrier (like Emma’s walls) that prevented him from feeling the emotions he felt when he was with Milah. The thought of Rumple killing him gave him hope. Hope for the same happiness he once felt with Milah. Hook was at his weakest in this episode. He’s slowly breaking.

I agree, Sam. I am hoping the story line about Captain Hook won’t be all about tragedy and bad choices without any hope. 🙁 I think there’s a lot they can do with him. I think he’s suicidal. You’re right about his weakness. He’s breaking.
January 28, 2013 at 10:11 pm #170384playaritaParticipantCaptain Hook has become the byronic hero. I sort of hope that Emma or Belle realize that Hook is not rotten but so incredibly broken that he is nearly driven insane from his grief and heartbreak. He is not as bad Heathcliff. It would be an interesting turn of events to have Belle and Hook become friends and possibly Hook trying to insinuate something more to get under Rumpel’s skin

For the long-run, this has got to be where they are goking with this story (to a redemption). At least, I hope so. There are a lot more layers to Hook than our childhood stories told us there were, thanks to some really good writers. I will love seeing where they take this.
February 3, 2013 at 3:46 am #171410obisgirlParticipantI’ve been wondering about this a lot lately (mainly because I just wrapped writing a fanfic about it 😆 ) but if we ever got a Killian Jones origin story, like way back when he was a little boy, what do you think he was like? His parents? His mother for instance? What kind of person do you picture in the role as Killian/Hook’s mother?
Like when I started writing about it, I had been watching a bunch of Star Trek: TNG reunion videos on youtube and I really like Marina’s Sirtis’ personality, so I just pictured her playing herself as Hook’s mom because that’s the way he is as an adult (minus the dirty mouth). 😆 😆
Anyone else have any thoughts?
February 3, 2013 at 3:47 pm #171447AllThatGlittersParticipantI really want to see an origin story for him too. Based on the upcoming episode titles, I’m not sure if it will happen this season. I was hoping they’d have another “Hook-centric” episode soon but I think they are going to be more focused on Rumple, Bae, Cora and the outsider, Greg. I hope I’m wrong!
