weeeelllllll, in the lights of the last episode, I dare say there should be ‘Cora’ in the poll as well 😈

You know, for some reason, I kind of ship Hook with Regina. They’re both sympathetic villains, and they look surprisingly good together. But I’m not going to lie, part of my opinion is formed around my love for Neal and Emma. I hope they’re true love. 😀

Man, they did look together in the promo for episode 9. For me, one of the reasons I loved Into the Deep so much was that the villains, Cora and Hook, were actually being villainous, and there was the return of the bantering between the villains that are trying to redeem themselves and also bantering between the villains that are just villains right now. I’ve missed that so much since the actors always seem to shine when they work together, so I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Regina and Hook have a lot of scenes together if it meant more villain time especially villainous banter.

Further, until this episode, Regina had become sort of a bore, imo, and I wasn’t finding Hook interesting at all aside from The Crocodile, so if they brought out the bad sides with each other but eventually also had to work on bringing out the good sides in each other if they keep redeeming most of the villains, I wouldn’t mind Regina/Hook at all. They’ve both been in parallel situations like they both were forced to watch their true love’s heart be ripped out in front of them which caused them to want revenge no matter what the consequences. In fact, they’re both willing to manipulate the innocent as long as they both get what they want in the end. Hook doesn’t seem to be all that fond of Cora, and we know that Regina has issues with Cora too. They both have issues with Rumple too, so they would always make him squirm which isn’t necessarily a bad thing since most of the time he’s the one making everyone else feel uneasy.

While I don’t expect either to find love necessarily; although, maybe if they keep Hook as a character until the end of the series, they both admit that they each other, but it would be nice for Regina to work with someone that would be her equal partner in crime and not someone that was her lapdog like Sydney and not someone she would screw over like Jefferson.

Definitely. I think they had fling, and that perhaps it might not be over completely not because Hook loves her, but because I think he’s really going to keep proving that his loyalties lie with Cora.

I’m not sure if any of the characters can have a second chance at true love. The writers have set up the concept of true love as a one time deal. So, I don’t think Hook will ever be able to find another true love. But he can definitely find another woman to love. 😉

I think Hook did love Milah, but i think Milah loved Hook’s adventures and thats what made her stay with him. Jane (one of the writers) stated that people ‘have the capacity to love more than once…even in fairytale land”. So im thinking that Milah was never his TRUE love. I think Emma is his true love because they’re the perfect match. In a way, i think they complete each other- Emma keeps Hook in line, and Hook brings Emma out of her shell.

I prefer the thought that there will be independent characters for Eric and Ariel in the future. I would rather not lump the characters together… it is okay for them to do it with GOLD/ RUMPLE but I think that should be the extent of it….. Gold is character that can run through the other stories because he is a manipulating force.

H&K has stated that they have a idea of how they want this story to play out over 5 seasons of an over arching story. The individual pieces / stories will fit with that arch. I think that is why they write filler stories and plan nuggets for the over lying story in the fillers. They have a master plan and are trying to pace each season to that plan.

That is why I think HOOK is Hook and Eric will be Erik….. hopefully never the twain shall meet. I think Ariel’s story will not be til next year.

I think that there’s a possibility that Ariel and Hook could have met in the past, even if he is not her Eric. In Ariel’s beginning (the third little mermaid movie) we learn that Ariel’s mother was killed when she was crushed by a pirate ship. In S03E01 of the Little Mermaid tv series, Sebastian ends up on a pirate ship and they have to rescue them.

As well in the official podcast (I forget which episode) they said that they are going to be exploring whether someone can find true love again.

    What is “over arching”?

that’s my thought too until we get a backstory episode focusing on the relationship of Killian/Milah, contrasting maybe with his present relationship with Emma. That would be nice.

I think Hook’s true love was Milha… Seeing as he’s dedicated 200+ years to avenging her death.

Agreed…if he just turns around and finds a new one, that kinda ruins the purpose of most of the stories and his whole revenge deal….don’t think it’s gonna happen.
