oh please, I’m not a fan of trying to influence writers with stuff like that! They have a set idea in their mind and it would be a pity if you force them to keep a certain actor just because you want it so. There is a high chance of ruining the story that way or changing it completely to what writers originally intended to do. I like the current style of the show and I guess you do too, otherwise you wouldn’t be watching it so please, don’t try to ruin it.
Soon there will be petitions to keep Hook, Belle, Cora, Archie, Smee and pretty much everyone else on the show. If that’s the writers plan for them, so be it, but otherwise, no thank you. If a character has this much potential, I’m sure its creators DO see it too.[adrotate group="5"]January 8, 2013 at 3:26 am #167420dena81Participant@TheLadyBelle wrote:
I really don’t get why people think Bae ended up in Neverland. Bae went to a land without magic (as I recall), but Neverland has magic, right? Or have I missed something?
Agree with this 100%!!!! I feel like sure there are soem parallels but there are just too many tidbits and reading between lines to tie Peter Pan and Bae and then there’s the idea of Neal and we still aren’t 100% sure he’s Bae (though I’m pretty positive he is). I feel like linking him to Peter Pan would just be stretching it pretty far. Sure we had hints here and there of Rumple being the Beast but it was just small bits here and there, the pieces tying Peter Pan to Bae are just all over the place…
January 8, 2013 at 4:57 am #167436gypsyParticipantThere are more than just a few tid bits connecting the name Neal Cassady to Peter Pan and to Bae.
I mean, they named him that for a reason. As far as “a place without magic”….. Blue Fairy never said the bean would take Bae DIRECTLY to a place without magic.
In fact, she told Bae to follow the bean wherever it may lead him.January 8, 2013 at 6:51 am #167482PheeParticipantShe said the bean would send Bae and Rumple to a land without magic, because the purpose of using the bean was for them to go somewhere that Rumple’s magic would be void.
Then Bae ended up going through alone, so he was now an orphan, and what storybook land do orphaned boys go to? Neverland.
We’ve now seen Hook use a bean to take him where he wanted to go, Neverland. And we’ve seen him and Cora use a bean to take them where they wanted to go, Storybrooke. And we know that the giants did the same thing where they’d choose whatever land they felt like plundering on any given day. Which means that the user dictates where the bean goes.
If Bae was thinking, “I don’t want to lose my Papa and be all alone,” as he fell through the hole….BAM, he ends up in Neverland with the Lost Boys. That’s been my thinking since the moment we saw him go down the beanhole.

Once Rumple didn’t go through that vortex with Bae, the rules changed.
January 9, 2013 at 9:07 pm #167704rubyredwolfParticipantI’ve always thought that he was peter pan
January 11, 2013 at 2:43 pm #167915RumplesGirlKeymasterThis is my favorite theory. I’ve been a big supporter of it for awhile. And I agree, I think either the rules changed once Bae went through alone OR the BF lied saying it would be a land without magic, knowing that Rumple could never give up his power and she secretly needed Bae in Neverland for some reason. I don’t really trust the BF but I think the first theory is probably more likely given that the writers do seem to want the BF on the side of “good”
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 28, 2013 at 7:23 am #175873kassandrastarrParticipantI’m convinced Neal is Peter Pan. I know everyone is really negative about it because they think it’s predictable, but I kind of like the idea. It makes sense and I think there will be a crazy twist with it. I’m hoping that we see more of Neal’s backstory in flashback and I think we will.
If Neal isn’t Peter Pan, or at least one of the lost boys, than I think that will be the biggest twist of the season.

I have believed this theory for a while now. Because it is the weekend and I had some free time, I put in my VHS of Disney’s Peter Pan to see if I could make any Once connections. Of course there were a few small ones such as Mr. Smee, and that the crocodile follows Hook wherever he goes. Anyways, the reason I’m here is to point out points of Peter’s behavior that can seem alot like Bae’s.
1) Wendy is suggesting that all of the Lost Boys come back to London with her. However, Peter is grouchy and apathetic, as if he doesn’t care about having parents. This can easiy be attributed to Bae feeling hurt and abandoned by both Milah and Rumple.
My next two references have to do with the final battle between Hook and Peter. The scene can be found on youtube, but I won’t post the link here for copyright reasons.
2) Hook was goading Peter by calling him a coward for always flying away during his sword fights. Peter responds by saying “Coward? COWARD? Nobody calls Peter a coward and lives! I’ll fight you man to man with one hand behind my back! I won’t even fly, you have my word.” Rumple is known for being a coward. Even Bae calls him a coward for not going through the portal. Bae naturally wants to be a better person than his father. Also, Bae says the magic words… “you have my word”
3) The second part of the scene, Peter is on his back weaponless with Hook’s sword inches from his head. Wendy and the Lost Boys are screaming at him to fly away and reset himself. However, while staring at the sword, Peter replies in a scared, but assertive voice “NO! I gave my word” Peter is facing iminent death, yet he is staying true to his word. This is something Bae would naturally do considereing Rumple broke his promise during the portal scene. My next point diverges into another theory that has been spreading around, Warning: it contains spoilers from “The Queen is Dead”
The theory is that Tamaria is Tinkerbell. Tink is known for being very jealous and trying to get Wendy out of the picture (she arranges for the lost boys to kill her. Since I am a HUGE SwanFire shipper, it can easily be assumed that Tamaria would be jealous and feel threatened by Emma. I can easily see Tamaria causing trouble..
Thank you
P.S. one more closing comment.
*Spoiler* Episode info Adam and Eddy have released
The names for the last two episodes are “second star to the right” and “straight on to morning” Need I say more?
P.P.S. at paleyfest they hinted we will be visiting new worlds during the third season…NEVERLAND!!March 10, 2013 at 8:11 am #178656MysteryKat25ParticipantBeautifully laid out argument irishdancing221! I’ve been a huge fan of this theory for a long time.
I know one of the main problems people have had with this theory (as far as how it makes sense, not whether they want Bae to be yet another person) is the fact that the bean was supposed to take him to a land without magic. Since you’re more of an expert here maybe you can help better explain where I’m going with the following:
I *think* it was in the movie HOOK (which I need to rewatch sometime soon), they have a whole thing about how you become a lost boy (including Peter). In fact I think it was the scene where he’s finally remembering who he was. It was something along the lines of when you’re abandoned and become “lost” you end up in Neverland which made me think: what if when Rumple let go of Bae the vortex diverted him to Neverland BECAUSE he became “a lost boy.” Rumple himself has called him this before. Peter was the head of the lost boys, but he was still a lost boy.
As I’ve suggested elsewhere it makes sense that Bae would change his name to something less conspicuous if he wanted to avoid Rumple after what happened. Otherwise how easy would that trail be to follow with such a unique name? It would toss Bae straight to Neverland even though the bean was originally supposed to take him supposedly to our world, it would explain the name change, and traditional versions of the story say that Peter had ways of getting to and from Neverland and once he got here he changed it to something else so that the trail ends with Neverland (or wherever else he may have gone in the meantime. Others have expounded on the Neal Cassidy connections to Peter Pan already).
The lyrics and images that go with the Disney version of Peter Pan for “Second Star to the Right” are very fitting. This is easily found on youtube. Fun fact: H&K have said Peter Pan is their favorite and when Peter and the children are seen on the clock tower…guess what time it is? 8:15 pm. Goooo figure 🙂
As for Tamara being Tink I could see that. One of the things that make think it possible is the fact that Tink is usually in love with Peter but ultimately doesn't get him. Fiancee getting in the way of a possible SwanFire reunion is a perfect fit. She will get to be jealous of their history once she learns about Henry and cause goodness knows what kind of trouble.
As for the names of the episodes? SOO excited! (Scared cause it’s finale and Hook is my favorite character and episodes blatantly named for certain characters are always iffy. Part of me is thrilled we finally get to go to Neverland (and presumably learn more about Hook), and part of me is scared for his life. Stop foreshadowing his death already!! He has so much potential still for many storylines! Also enough killing off the hot Irish men who flirt with Emma. It's just mean.
Keeper of Hook's Trenchcoat.
