Here are some video versions of the cast interviews, including Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Creators Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz, Lana Parrilla, and Meghan Ory:

    From the examiner article

Co-creators and executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis confirmed that in season two we would finally be meeting Henry’s father. In fact, series star Jennifer Morrison boasted already knowing who he is, so Kitsis went on to say that the reveal of Henry’s father may not be as big a deal as some fans (or perhaps even this reporter) have built it up because he was just a “one time thing” to Emma (Morrison).

Could this mean that Bae is not Henry’s father or that Henry’s father is not Emma’s true love?

That’s exactly what I thought. It actually makes me more interested in knowing what happened to Bae and who Henry’s dad is. I just hope he’s not a “commoner”. I don’t want “common” people to come to Storybrooke! Only fairy tales and their offspring alowed!

Perhaps Bae is dead. He came to this world, grew up, got married, had kids and one of those kids is Henry’s father. Bae lived a full and happy life and died an old man peacefully in his sleep. We find out what happened to Bae in the same season Henry’s father turns up because Henry’s father is Bae’s son.

    Just a theory.

Yet another Interview. I love Comic-Con, lol. Makes the waiting for scoops worth it. Wish I could’ve been there … Was anyone from the forum there?

    From the article mia posted

We will learn the identity of Henry’s father. Although they’re not saying who it is, or even if we’ve already met him, the show’s creators do know the identity of Rumple’s son. They reminded us that Rumple has gone through a lot of machinations to find Baelfire, and he’s unlikely to stop searching for him. The loss of Baelfire is Rumple’s biggest regret and in a sense, believe Adam and Eddie, the moment he lost his heart.

What does it mean “the show’s creators do know the identity of Rumple’s son” ?

Maybe a typo: I remember them saying in an interview after the final that THEY knew who Henry’s dad was…seems weird to change subjects like that.

So, it was just a one night stand: what did Henry’s father manage to do in such a short length of time to become ‘not a hero’? And, if it was only a one time thing for her, do we have a clinger on our hands next season? 😆

Just a theory but maybe Emma was struggling financially to get by when she hooked up with Henry’s father. She was vulnerable, desperate and had no family support or friends to fall back on. So when Henry’s father came on the scene, he appeared to be Emma’s knight in shining armor. Henry’s father got Emma involved in low level crime, nothing major but Emma was too enamoured with Henry’s father to realise what they were doing was illegal. So Emma sleeps with Henry’s father as she thinks that their relationship is meaningful when in reality Henry’s father finds her useful. When Emma gets caught Henry’s father leaves her to take the fall.

Emma isn’t someone who likes to admit she’s been taken for a fool so she might just pass off Henry’s father as a one night stand because it’s easier than acknowledging all the hurt he’s caused her.
