It’s interesting that this episode (the penulitmate of the season) is the backdoor pilot. How will it work into the overall story line??

Well, my guess it’s Wendy or Alice.“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

So maybe this is an insignificant person that’s randomly connected to someone else’s backstory, or this is someone we’ve already seen as a younger version.

Unless Alice’s introduction has to do with the proposed Mad Hatter spin-off, and this will somehow tie into that. In an interview back in like December, the creators gave a straight up “no” to seeing Alice this Season, but I would be willing to say that has changed ever since the spin-off was thought of.

If Onceiverse Alice is from our world, perhaps her trip to Wonderland could be used as a parallel to the building tensions in SB between people who wanna go from our world back to FTL, without really knowing what they’re getting themselves in for. Perhaps? Maybe the SBers who wanna go back will try to recruit their resident realm jumper to help their cause? Maybe? It’s all I can come up with based on what we know thus far.
March 2, 2013 at 2:18 pm #176214RumplesGirlKeymasterIt would be interesting to see Jefferson (*sigh* though probably not Sebastian Stan) and Alice together in the flashbacks. Many have speculated that he and Alice were married. And maybe we’d finally learn how he lost her to his job.
At any rate, I maintain that the end of two will be the entire town leaving for FTL because they have no choice, I think Greg or HER will have alerted the media and the news vans will start rolling in. It also makes me wonder with huge episodes like The Miller’s Daughter coming up, what else will his video phone capture? Perhaps Cora and Regina doing some SERIOUS magic? He needs more than just that video he shot in Manhattan. Once the SBers learn their lives and identities are in danger, they’ll have to leave. And who else knows realm jumping better than Jefferson. (But will they land in FTL, that’s another question. I think they’ll land in Neverland and S3 will focus on that realm).

LOL. You’re totally right. But maybe a young Alice meets a young Jefferson and they explore worlds together and eventually grow up and get married and have Grace.

Maybe, but still doubt it. Also, if this casting call really is for Alice, I think the “Jack is also Alice” theory can die. The casting call doesn’t match Jack at all, and I was never a supporter of that theory anyway.
