I’m thinking the call for “Heidi” is really Wendy!

I’ve thought Heidi is probably Wendy too.

Just looked both of these actresses up and Freya is actually 19, (not 17 like the previous post says), so forget what I said about the Aussie probably being for the Heidi casting call, because that’s too much of an age gap from 13. Laine is 15 though, which isn’t far off 13.

The younger of the two could be Heidi/Wendy. Which I’m assuming means flashbacks and not in SB.

Laine MacNeil could play Wendy. Although she’s Canadian, she might be talented enough to pull off a British accent. She is currently 15, the same age as Dylan Schmid, so I could see her easily playing his peer. I think Laine is too young to play Tinker Bell, who is rather sexy. As for Freya Tingley, she could play a brunette Tinker Bell or a mermaid. I don’t think 19 is too young to play either role. I doubt she’ll be paired with Captain Hook, at least not right now, since I think he’ll be interested in Emma Swan or eventually even Regina Mills.

You know, the big question I have about Wendy is: will she be set in more present day, or back in turn of the century London?

In my headcanon, Hookriel doesn’t happen immediately after they introduce her. I could see Freya as a potential Ariel, (which wouldn’t instantly break my shipper heart now that I’ve discovered she’s actually 19). We haven’t had a casting call for a second female character, so either the second character is someone completely unimportant or someone so important they didn’t even want the casting call made public to clue people in. A character like Ariel may fit the latter, especially if the powers that be have seen people speculating about her being in Neverland and they don’t want to give the game away.

I’m not sure about Ariel. I can them holding off on that episode until about the 3rd or 4th. I think it’s going to take a few episodes to establish the world of Neverland. There will be lots to do with the Lost Boys and Pan first. Then we can get to the mermaids. (in my head, the episode is titled Under the Sea, btw)

Again in my headcanon, we first see Ariel in the episode where we see Hook arriving in Neverland from FTL, (and we may well get Hook flashbacks in one of the final eps), but don’t get her actual story until later. My headcanon will likely be all sorts of wrong, but I’m sticking with it while I still can. 😛 (For the record, my current theory is that when Hook’s ship comes screaming out of the portal, he gets thrown in the water, Ariel dashes off to save him and fall in love, meanwhile the ship veers out of control and kills her mother.)

I’m almost 100% positive that Hook is Peter Pan.

The only thing with that is, Hook was already an adult when he went to Neverland.
I know they bring their own twists to the stories, but, the fact that Peter Pan was a 14 yr old boy is one of his main characteristics.
To change that one crtical factor in any way would be a huge disservice to such an iconic character, even for K&H….especially considering that PP is their all time favorite character.

I like your theory Phee! I’m definitely thinking we’ll see mermaids once we see neverland, but just as sort of scenery that aren’t the main focus (kind of like when we first saw Neverland in the Disney movie?) I’m not sure I haven’t seen that movie in a long time lol
