I think his “kid” is because he’s thinking of the age of the actor/character. He’s telling us that we might expect an older Pan but that H and K decided to make him younger. I think the idea of clarifying the role as a boy never occurred to him because “Peter Pan” is a boy, even if traditionally played by a girl in some cases. I don’t think Robert was trying to be subversive.
[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 8, 2013 at 10:06 pm #185109HappyEndingsSpectatorWill that age rules out that Felix kid that might be one of the lost boys. 🙁
And it can’t be Henry, or Pinoccho so who is left? ❓
April 8, 2013 at 10:07 pm #185110RumplesGirlKeymasterRight it does. Felix and the boys might not be the lost boys, they could be part of Hook’s crew or Felix could have taken over for Peter Pan if he left NL.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 8, 2013 at 10:46 pm #185123CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantThat is interesting — not just because it would be cool to see a young kid go up against the grown Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), but because it suggests that Nealfire isn’t the same character as Peter Pan … unless The Powers That Be are talking about casting a young version of the character for flashbacks. But it doesn’t sound like that’s what Robert meant.
What??
I’m so confused. “it suggests that Nealfire isn’t the same character as Peter Pan, Unless the powers that be are talking about casting a younger version…“
That sentence doesn’t make sense. There is already a younger version of Nealfire……………….. They are using the basis of Neal being older as he’s not Peter Pan because there hasn’t been a younger version of Nealfire cast…. ?Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.
April 8, 2013 at 10:50 pm #185125RumplesGirlKeymasterYes, we already have a younger Nealfire: Dylan, who was already on set for the finale.
I don’t know what wetpaint is talking about.
I think it’ becoming very likely that we haven’t seen Peter Pan at all and we won’t actually see his face until S3 begins.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 8, 2013 at 10:53 pm #185126CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantSo confusing! I mean, they could be talking about Peter Pan in the second part of the sentence, but then the first part before “unless” wouldn’t make sense! 😆
I mean they use Nealfire so they have to have some knowledge of this show, I wouldn’t think they don’t even know Dylan Schmid= young Baelfire. I mean. It’s kind of the whole point of the series. 😉 So I will chalk it up to grammar. 😆 😆Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

April 9, 2013 at 3:24 pm #185280HappyEndingsSpectatorRapunzel” on Set
We’ve met plenty of familiar fairy tale characters throughout two seasons of Once Upon a Time, but one of the recently-popular heroines has yet to be seen… until now!
Rapunzel — whose tale is familiar, but rose to familiarity with 2010’s Tangled — was spotted on the OUAT set by star Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), but all is not as it appears.
Though she tweeted a picture of a blonde with long, flowing hair, her caption was a little skewed from the original story. She wrote, “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your mustache,” paired with a pic of Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) posing sideways with her hair draped over her face. It doesn’t exactly look like a mustache, but we’ll take it.
Before clicking the full-size photo, we were hopeful that OUAT would introduce us to a new character in the season finale, which the cast just wrapped. However, since we’re supposed to travel to Neverland, we’d be perfectly content meeting another blonde instead — Tinker Bell, perhaps?
