Woohoo! Hopefully he’ll be played by someone just as awesome as John Lithgow is for the White Rabbit! 😀
So excited to see their version of the Cheshire Cat. 🙂
Love the Cheshire Cat. Really need to see him.
Well they might not go with a guy, they could have the cat be female. Since Lithgow is the rabbit, maybe Jane Curtain could be the cat. Speaking of Jane, that reminds me of the actress Kate Mulgrew who played Captain Janeway, she has a cat sort of voice. She’s done V.O. work before.
I think Mark Hamil who was Luke Skywalker did some VO work as the joker for an animated batman, so that might be funny too.

A female Cheshire Cat would be fun, all sultry and seductive and aloof.
Which side do you think the CC will be on? He(she) is always so either/or. In the Burton film, he does eventually help Alice but it mostly concerned with saving his own skin. I can see the CC being a double agent, perhaps.
I predict that CC will be the Hook of WL, always playing both sides until one truly serves their own needs.
Yes, I agree, a neutral character, not a hero or villain, just out for him/herself.

I’m personally a fan of the idea of just casting Jim Cummings to voice the Chesire Cat, since he voices all of Sterling Holloway’s other characters. Would be neat.
