So, when Emma put on the deputy badge, thereby becoming more fixed with remaining in SB, there was an earth tremor/explosion that was centered at the old coal mine. Being that the explosion caused a piece of Snow’s glass coffin to push up and out of the mine shaft to the surface of SB, does this mean that the explosion was in essence a fracture in the curse that separates SB and FTL? I was unable to find a post that discussed peoples theories as to what caused the tremor, and if the coal mine will be seen again.

When looking for Henry, Archie came upon a door in the mines that was locked. Could unlocking this door lead back to FTL?

When Archie told Emma, in the episode An Apple Red as Blood, that Emma’s fight with Regina woke a sleeping dragon, he was speaking metaphorically, but what if the explosion at the mine was caused by the waking of a dragon. That would make for an interesting opening to season two.

I believe we were given a tease with the mine and the sight of the glass coffin (of which, I am the Keeper!, LOL). I suspect we will eventually see more of the mines, the glass coffin, and whatever secrets lie therein.

Keeper of Snow White's Glass Coffin.

Prince Charming did kill the dragon plaguing King Midas’ kingdom, how do we know there aren’t more dragons? So going with what Mike said yes Hopper was speaking metaphorically but the tremors were unexplained. It is unknown what lies deep within the mines.

    Sleeping dragon = Maleficent?

I think Archie was talking about Regina when he said that. But it is interesting that it may be a reference to an actual dragon since we know Maleficent will be back and she becomes a dragon in the disney version.

Maleficent is suppose to be back for the season finale.. Yes it was Archie that said the dragon reference. The mine could it be a route to FTL. What would explain the remains of the glass coffin after Regina tossing the piece of glass down the shaft? Mary Margaret before releasing the dove and before David saved her from falling off the cliff saw something in the ravine that made her pause for a few minutes.

I don’t think that the glass coffin needs to be explain anymore then Snow’s ring does. The coffin came with them when they were transferred over just like Snow’s ring and the hat box and the other objects that came through.

There is more in the caves than the coffin. I had the feeling the cave contained or was FTP in ruins. I think there does need to be a bit more light shed down there and further explanation. I think there is much more to it than we know.
