I think if GG became pregnant in real life, the pregnancy would be written into the story. Snow finding out she is pregnant would add more family drama to the Charmings’ lives without them having to be separated and try and find one another all the time. Snow and Charming could be happy that they actually get to be parents and raise a child whilst Emma may feel a bit of sibling jealousy that the new baby would get the childhood that she should’ve had.
True! I’ve always thought Snowing wouldn’t have another baby until the end of the show’s run, but it would certainly provide for some emotionally conflicting storylines if it happened earlier.
2) Perhaps the magical bean does take a person wherever he or she needs to go. If so, then maybe the magic “sensed” Neal would need to arrive in a place where help would be (i.e. in the form of Mulan, Philip, and Aurora and possibly the healing water of Lake Nosotos). Neal being in FTL is somehow was fortuitous because in meeting Philip, he might just discover that the land where lost souls go is also the same as NL. Also, by meeting Aurora, she can communicate with Henry, David and Snow via the “red room” (ie. the netherworld where a person goes while asleep). So, it is almost ‘providential’ that Neal meets them.
I like this. MRJ did point out during the Panel that Neal was lucky to have landed where he did.

Storybrooke.net has lots of photos from Comic Con posted.
July 21, 2013 at 11:52 am #201325HappyEndingsSpectatorI stated this before Emma told Bae as she was holding on to him that he needs a Doctor, and because she has magic could have directed him to the lake. The one who has the beans controls where they go and Tamara was trying to send Emma away.
For the record I don’t believe in same sex marriage or relationship, and by the way there is only about 2 to 3% of the population that is in this same sex stuff so why does Hollywood and others have to cater to just the 3% is beyond me. (Lev 20:13, Romans 1:26-27) —- End of Sermon today 🙂
I still believe PP, is the Duke and went to NL to find money perhaps for his mother if she was mother never loved him he was trying to earn her respect in some way. We never saw the Duke, he could have stopped the wars like Rumble did so my guess is that he is stuck in NL and being so young maybe he wouldn’t thought of making agreement to stop the wars or didn’t know how.
As for Ginnifer’s clothes, I think because the weather it is hot and most people like to wear losing fitting clothes to stay cool if they can especially these kind of dresses come out during the summer and to be honest I don’t remember ever seeing her in pants.
July 21, 2013 at 12:03 pm #201328RumplesGirlKeymasterThe idea of Emma directing the bean to help Neal find “a Doctor” is interesting. Lake Nostos beats any doctor I know of! Does that mean that Emma’s magic overrode where the bean would have originally taken Neal? Would he have wound up in NL if not for her?
I’m still not even remotely convinced that the Duke has anything to do with anything. I think he is just a minor minor minor character who was mentioned only because they needed someone controlling Zoso and running the war.

I don’t mind same-sex relationships, if two people love each other then why shouldn’t they be together? Love is love regardless of whether it is between a man and a woman or two men or two women.
As for showing same-sex relationships on screen, I’d be okay with it so long as it’s done in a way that isn’t just there for the sake of being there. It could be done in two ways, either as part of a story about tolerance (Perhaps Ariel falling in love with a woman named Erica if Hookriel doesn’t happen) or having a subtle approach of having two awesome characters with a “by the way these two male/female characters are in a relationship with each other”.
The same-sex relationship should not be the story or define the character but should be a detail of the story and character.

I don’t think Hook ever married Milah otherwise he would have mentioned it by now. I don’t consider Hook Emma’s father in law because Emma hasn’t married Neal and if she did Rumple would be her father in law. Regina married Leopold making her Snow’s step-mother and thus Emma’s step grandmother. Also, Hook said in the Crocodile that he’s “had many a man’s wife”. Since that was 300 years ago, what’s the odds that at least some of those wives could have gotten pregnant because of Hook before he moved on with his travels. What if there are present day relatives of Hook running around the likes of FTL and Storybrooke?
Here’s my my problem with that argument. You’re putting a higher value on the title of marriage without taking into account actual affection and love. Hook loved Milah and was prepared to raise Baelfire as his own son. He chose that family. Regina, on the other hand, never loved Leopold. She hated Snow, and if you asked her I’m pretty sure she would rather compliment Charming’s intelligence, than claim to be Snow’s mother. Yes she married him, but she didn’t want to be married to him. That to me negates any arguments about the step-mother thing. Also considering how much time has passed since both of those relationship and the fact the none of them are biologically related, I didn’t have a problem with either CaptainSwan or SwanQueen.
Now as to the Swan Queen fandom reaction… I think that hate tweets were about the dumbest thing any fandom shippers can do. What’s that going to accomplish? Nothing, but alienate you. However I also don’t like the reaction by other the ship fandoms to the hate tweets. Adam get’s hate tweets all the time. He’s been deflecting questions about Rumbelle for several weeks because apparently; [sarcasm]Belle and Rumple went their separate ways in the finale which means that that ship will never ever happen and Belle’s getting written off and they are terrible writers[/sarcasm]. Seriously, people suck sometimes. Speaking of which: I read last night that the girl that asked the now infamous Swan Queen question was yelled at by other fans after the Q&A for “embarrassing the OUAT fanbase.” I think we can all agree that no fandom has the right to criticize/ridicule another no matter how probably or improbable their ship may be. Why be nasty to each other? Because it’s the internet!
Then there’s the reaction to the reaction. Just reading through this thread I’ve seen a lot of posters generalizing all Swan Queen fans into a group of angry LGBT supporters who only watched because they wanted a gay relationship on the show. And that’s all based on one tweet from Adam. We don’t know how many hate tweets he or JMo got, nor what they were about. So it’s not really fair to say that the whole Swan Queen community is represented by the unknown fraction that took to twitter and tumbler. There are plenty, who will argue that the ship was based on story and the chemistry between the two actresses. I ship Hooked Queen but I’ll be the first to admit, the “un-intentional” allusions to that relationship where pretty overt. If Adam and Eddy didn’t intend for people to ship them, then why did they emphasize family, make a huge point that they are both Henry’s mothers and love him, and then have Regina and Emma join there magic in the finale in a big ball of energy that explodes at their pelvises. After that scene I actually did scratch my head and tell my friends, “Maybe they are going to do it.”
So anyway to bring this really long post to a close. I think that Eddy and Adam started this show with a very clear story mapped out. They did not intend for this show to be a platform to address any social issues, and when this cropped up for them in season one they didn’t know what to do with it. Being a very vocal fandom, they were going to have to deal with this eventually. I almost wish they had said, “You’ll just have to wait and see” or one of their usually not-answer answers. But Eddy shut it down and now there are a lot of hurt feelings, bitching between the fandoms, and DRAMA when there really didn’t need to be. Hopefully only a small chunk of the Swan Queen audience stops watching because honestly we can’t afford to lose more viewers.

The Duke could have some significance that we find out later on in the story, kind of like how the bad fairy that gave Snow the fairy dust may or may not be Tinkerbell. If the show ever goes into the Dark One’s history before Rumple, then we may find out how the Duke came into possession of the Dagger. We’ve got a time gap between Rumple became the Dark one to the Return where Rumple has stopped the Ogre war. I think Rumple may have killed the Duke of the Frontlands since he was the one who was sending children like Bae into battle.

I can see Rumple killing the Duke as a way to bring that mystery to a close, but I don’t think the Duke is PP like HappyEndings was suggesting. If they wanted to explore the backstory of the Dark One and the DO curse, which I hope they do someday, then the Duke can play a part again, but as far as this season and this arc goes, I just don’t see the Duke interacting that much with our characters.

It’s actually 10 percent.

Nobody’s denying that Hooked loved Milah, he spent 300 years trying to avenge her death, the love and affection is not the issue. I’m going to use Rumbelle and Bae as an example of my point. Belle and Rumple love each other. However, Belle is not officially Bae’s step-mother because she has not married Rumple yet. Belle’s relationship to Bae is his dad’s girlfriend.
Hook loved Milah. However, because they weren’t married, Hook is not officially Bae’s step-father but was Milah’s boyfriend.
Regina did not love Leopold. However, they were married which makes her officially Snow’s stepmother and thus Emma’s grandmother.
Does the step-parent/step-child relationship cease to exist when the biological parent dies? Using Rumbelle and Bae as an example again, say Belle married Rumple and officially became Bae’s step-mother. Rumple dies (heaven forbid) does that mean Belle is no longer Bae’s step-mother?
All magic comes with a price!
