I could see CaptainSwan occurring because even with Hook loving Milah whose son was Bae whose son is Henry whose mother is Emma; they are not actually related. Not by marriage, not by blood, not by any standards what so ever, it would be weird and I’m sure Snow and Charming would kill Hook before letting it happen, but I could see it coming.
Bae never saw Hook as his father so CaptainSwan is not as “weird” as SwanQueen would be. If Rumple and Emma hooked up, that would be weird because Rumple is Bae’s father so Rumple is kind of like Emma’s father in law but not officially because Emma didn’t marry Bae but the connotations are still there.

True, but there is a difference between father and father-figure. I think Bae saw Hook as a father figure. He sure felt as betrayed by Hook as he did with Rumple. I’m not saying that how Bae feels is standing in the way of CaptainSwan at all, though. I don’t think Bae’s relationship, no matter what it was, with Hook hinders a Swan and Hook romance.

We never saw the Duke, he could have stopped the wars like Rumble did so my guess is that he is stuck in NL and being so young maybe he wouldn’t thought of making agreement to stop the wars or didn’t know how.
I’ve come to suspect the same, HE. It does feel fishy that the Seer was conveniently positioned to meet Rumple in ‘Manhattan’ only to disappear after she prophesized his abandonment of Bae to him and years were spent fighting the Ogres when a simple command to Zoso could’ve ended it.
Well if we’re going with Snow’s opinion then Regina should have married Daniel

Keeper of FelixFor me, it’s not just that Snow sees Regina as her stepmother, but also that both Emma and Regina have been demonstrated to be straight. To suddenly switch them over would feel forced. I have no problem with same sex relationships, and I’m a big supporter of gay rights and don’t understand why allowing them to marry each other is even an issue. However, I don’t see those particular 2 characters having a relationship. I have no problem with SwanQueen shippers enjoying their ship just for fun. If they want to write fanfic, etc about them- great! Be passionate! Have fun! Just don’t hate the writers or accuse them of being homophobic for saying it isn’t what they intended.
The Duke? I don’t remember this reference.
I do find prophesies rather odd.
In Harry Potter, Voldemort’s prophesy states that something similar to Rumples. A boy would be his undoing and their were two boys that it could have been: Neville or Harry. Voldemort chose Harry, but Neville was really part of his undoing in the end.
Now I know HP an OUAT don’t mix but the ideas on prophesies are similar. People tend to analyze them how they want to and maybe not what they truly mean.
Oh and it is similar to the Oracle in The Lightning Thief series. Percy and Annabeth try to analyze the prophesy but it usually means something totally off base then what they first believed it to be.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"About Ariël. It could be possible that she arrived in StoryBrook at the same time when the Jolly Roger left Storybrooke to Neverland. Is that possible? That one can leave through a portal while another one comes from that same portal?
This has been my thought when I first saw the Ariel trailer. But Phee brought up a good point. Last year, to show that Captain Hook was coming that had a man break into Gold’s shop and smash all the glass cases to retrieve his hook. Needless to say, that never happened on the show and Hook didn’t even arrive in SB until 209, QoH. So, this could be a way to show that Ariel is coming to OUAT but not that she’s going to be in SB.
