Ok this theory comes from HappyEndings. I am her official typist 🙂
I’m gonna bullet point this, mostly.
1) The New Curse takes everyone back to the EF except Emma and Henry, perhaps this is due to her special nature as Savior. However, everyone else–including Hook–goes back to the EF. Emma is taken to NYC where she lives with Henry. Both Henry and Emma no longer remember who they are, except mother and son.
2) Back in FTL the curse traps them in the EF but I think they have their memories (HE correct me if I’m wrong). Because Hook has the ship and Tink has the pixie dust, they can use the two combined to get out of FTL.
3) Hook arrives in NYC looking for Emma. She has no idea who he is. He gives her the BLUE potion we see in pics. It’s the same memory potion that Blue Fairy made for Belle and Sneezy.
4) Emma doesn’t want to take it but later that night The Mystery Man (Chris Gorham) shows up and whatever goes on between them convinces Emma to drink the potion
5) When she does, she remembers who she is and she and Hook and Henry go back to the EF where Emma breaks the Curse. Somehow. All this takes places in one episode given what we know about 313 being in SB
Ok, pitfalls I didn’t think about when HappyEndings and I were discussing this
1) Does the New Curse just trap the characters in the EF or do they loose their memories? Cause if they loose their memories then Hook wouldn’t know who Emma was to go get her.No one would know who Emma was
2) If they are trapped in the EF, then how does the JR get out with a portal
3) Rapidly changing clothes of Belle0–gold gown to purple dress
4) Where is Rumple?
5) If Emma has no memories then did she never give up Henry?
6) How does Mader’s character fit in?

I got to thinking I don’t thing they lose their memories because we saw David, breaking up a little fight with Neal and Hook. Or if they did Hook could be protected because he wasn’t in the original curse he was protected.

This is where the Pixie dust comes in and take Hook to Emma in NY, kind of like the bean thing. Hook is redoing what Henry didn’t to break the curse. Henry took a bus to Boston to get Emma, Hook took the dust/boat to get to Emma in NY. New York was the last place that Henry and Emma visited so that is why they are there.

Because time is moving backward in FTL, Belle has outfits on that we saw before didn’t we?4) Where is Rumple?
Rumple was in his jail cell just like when the curse happened that is where he was.
5) If Emma has no memories then did she never give up Henry?
You already stated this in your original post, Emma and Henry are living in NY she didn’t give Henry up.
6) How does Mader’s character fit in?
This is Emma’s pass partner who taught her how to find people or knows that she is from FTL.Note: The reason Aurora and Phillip are running is because the see the curse coming towards them and don’t know what it is.
Are only Rumple in anothr place or Belle too. Is everyone cursed to be in FTL (purple smoke) or are also a few cursed in SB (green Smoke)?

1) I was thinking that Mader was the guy we saw in NY.
2) Because we saw Snow’s side view and it shows the baby in reversal Emma has to hurry and break the curse or she won’t be no more.
3) As for the new Witch that comes to town she could have been in SB like the rest of everyone else or since Rumples blocking curse only works for people coming in town but not flying or coming up from the ground that is when we will see her and Thus will be the new SB, good bye with the old fairy tale book and Regina as the bad person to the new Witch.

This isn’t shipping…it’s Henry. His son is in that other world. He’s been separated so many times I don’t think he’d sit by idly while Hook does this. Regina, either. I think Regina and Neal would be the first passengers on that ship to get Henry and Emma back.

The purple dress she’s wearing in the FTL pics is completely new. She’s also wearing the gold dress, which we’ve seen before, but the purple dress, we have never seen before.
And speaking of costume stuff, I’ve mentioned this before, but Hook’s red vest. That is what makes me think that the Hook in FTL and the Hook in NYC are not the same person hopping back and forth between worlds. If he were hopping back and forth, he wouldn’t bother changing clothes on the way there and/or back. I think the fact that they put FTL Hook in that red vest is their way of differentiating between the two, so they’re able to show both versions of Hook in the same ep, but have the audience be able to instantly distinguish that they’re in different times/places. If he were hopping between worlds, it would make more sense for him to be dressed exactly the same in both places, because if he’s meant to be the link connecting both times/places, they’d want to convey that cohesiveness to the audience, but the different costume splits it up.
