And speaking of costume stuff, I’ve mentioned this before, but Hook’s red vest. That is what makes me think that the Hook in FTL and the Hook in NYC are not the same person hopping back and forth between worlds. If he were hopping back and forth, he wouldn’t bother changing clothes on the way there and/or back. I think the fact that they put FTL Hook in that red vest is their way of differentiating between the two, so they’re able to show both versions of Hook in the same ep, but have the audience be able to instantly distinguish that they’re in different times/places. If he were hopping between worlds, it would make more sense for him to be dressed exactly the same in both places, because if he’s meant to be the link connecting both times/places, they’d want to convey that cohesiveness to the audience, but the different costume splits it up.

That’s a good question. Why would Hook change his vest? (These clothes keep messing up theories)

I like HE’s theory, definitely makes a lot of sense.

What if Rumple, Regina and/or Emma try to stop the curse when Pan is casting it and it goes awry? If the spell or magic they are trying to use backfires or goes wonky I think that would be able to explain some of the theories everyone has been putting forward. Hook could be in two places because he has been split in two due to the misspell. It could also explain why Emma and Henry ended up somewhere else with no memories of their lives and why those in EF know whats going on and decide to look for Emma and Henry. Or why time is working backwards.

jumping in … if neal is fighting with hook say he wants to go with emma and henry, the downside would be maybe he ends up in jail or loses his current memory so he wont know what hes after any way much similar to rumples predicament.. or that the purple vial.. which is to restore memories(emmas) they only have enough for one and hook as he was protected from the original curse can leave and keep his memories and get emma the potion and bring them home .. so neal will relent and hook will leave and everyone will deal with other drama…

I think it could be a combination of both HE’s theory & my theory.

I have no doubt that we will see Emma and Henry both in FTL and reunite with Neal and everyone else there but my thinking is that everyone will still be stuck over there with no way to get back to SB. They will have to find a portal I’m still trying to figure how Rebecca Mader’s Wicked Witch character figures into things.

But I got to thinking what if it takes Neal’s & Henry’s Blood Magic, Emma’s Magic since she is the product of True Love as we as Henry’s Belief since he has the Heart Of The Truest Believer factor add in True Loves Kiss to the equation by either Emma & Neal or Regina & Robin Hood and maybe that is what it will take to break the curse but as to how they all get back to SB is what has me stumped at the moment because we know there is no portals in FTL

That could be true too RG, I forgot about the grey hair. The all are aging fast so this curse if it is a curse you aren’t frozen in time except you know Neal should be older after all he is what 200 years old?

What if the curse PP casts goes wonky and it splits everyone in two and you get their light and dark sides? Belle’s purple dress could be because Lacey wore purple. Hook was at his nastiest in The Crocodile where he wore the Red vest.

Techinically no. He’s not 250, he was just frozen at 14 for a VERY LONG TIME. So he would be rapidly aging from the 34+ that he is now. It’s like Snow. Technically, because of the original Curse she is still only 28 or 29, even though she has been alive for 50+ years.
