If Cora and Henry had lost their kingdom, she wanted to get another one to replace it, because she’s powerhungry like that. She couldn’t marry into another royal family herself, so she set it up for Regina instead. If it does turn out that George is Regina’s biodad, then Cora would have felt that her daughter was entitled to be royalty and so went to great lengths to make it happen.
Remember when Regina went to get her Dad’s heart with the Mad Hatter and he made the comment that he was with the Queen and Cora got mad and said that she was the only Queen, I wonder if that ties into anything? 😕

I think it definitely does! I think Cora was Queen of Henry Sr. (now George’s) kingdom for all of 5 seconds before Rumple got his revenge on her and had George overthrow it. But those brief moments as Queen made Cora even more power hungry and so she set lots of plans into motion so that one day she could rule again (I think she was happy to let Regina have the title of Queen when she married Leopold, but I think Cora would have really been running the show)

I wondered if it was a throne too! I still say Henry Sr was the heir to an impovrished kingdom and Cora told him she could spin straw into gold in order to become his Queen. Enter Rumple with a deal: gold for baby Regina. But Cora will break the deal (I think we’re going to see her finding his dagger and using it to control him). Rumple’s revenge? Having George overtake the kingdom. We know George’s kingdom is poor and in need of gold.

AH! That’s a very good theory. I wouldn’t put it past Rumpel to aid King George in his quest to overtake the kingdom as an act of revenge.

Also, knowing that George trusted Rumple to find him a son, it’s likely they may have had previous dealings too. Perhaps George discovered that Rumple’s the baby trading go to guy, after whatever went down concerning Cora and baby Regina, which resulted in George getting Henry’s kingdom.
But everyone keeps forgetting she went after Snow’s Kingdom, not King George’s. “King Xavier” is Henry’s father so there is 3 separate kingdoms here I believe.
What I think is that Cora broke her deal with Rumble and therefore Rumble let her kingdom be destroyed for lack of money.
“King Xavier” and “Prince Henry” could be code names used in the casting call. For all we know “Prince Henry” could be code for a young Prince George, whose father is “King Xavier.”
