They kind of did this story with Red and Snow.
I think the witch turned Regina into red like what Regina did to the witch except she was green.

If only I had a penny for everytime Ive been told that they already used RoseRed for Ruby! But IM NOT GIVIN IN 😉 I dont think the allusion of Ruby Red to the SnowWhite and RoseRed fairytale excludes that this fairytale can be used in a nother way on the show. It was never explicitly stated that Ruby is RoseRed, besides Ruby is not Snows sister.
It could be as you suggest, that Wicked turns Regina red and opposite Wicked is turned green, in some magical fight. But I would find that solution awfully disapointing storytellingwise, sorry to say.. its just to easy.
Then I would be more happy with that the red gloves are really the ruby red slippers, maybe Regina was not taken to Storybrook under Wickeds curse, but left back in Enchanted Forest and she had to find her own way back and therefor uses the magic ruby red gloves.
First to say I am glad that Rumple is alive.I don’t like the theory that Rumple is WWW father but imagine how much grudge would she hold on all of them for being outcast in Oz.She probably hates Regina for Cora and Rumple.She had Cora by her side all the time and Rumple as a father figure to her and WWW had nothing of that as far as we know.I don’t think that Rumple knew he had a daughter and Cora probably sent her to Oz to use her against Rumple when needed.She would hate them all but specially Regina who had everything she didn’t.
I was contemplating over this thing Again, as I cant seem too stop doing right now- Oh bless the days when we will know whats going on with the Wicked!
Anyway, this acured too me. If Wicked is Coras real daughter (exchanged as a baby for Regina by Rumple) her revenge aganda against Regina will be for almost the same exact reasons as Coras hate agenda against Eva was- the reasons being that each hate their respective enemy, because they are jealous that they have the kind of life they so lustfully long for!
Eva/Regina are Royals with fortunes and priviledges. Cora hated that about Eva thats why she invested her hole life into bringing Eva down (on her knees) and take over her title as a Royal (through her daughter) Now Wicked hates that Regina took her place and wants to bring her down so she can take it back. Somehow Wicked knows about what happened- That she was replaced by Regina as a baby. And she feels that the Royal title and everything that comes with it (such as nice dresses and Castles and stuff) is rightfully hers.
Anyway, main thing that I wanted to say was- The stories of “Cora vs. Eva” and “Wicked vs. Regina” resembles eachother perfectly. Another good reason why this theory is gonna be true 🙂
