Sparked by the zebra print rug, and inspired by a comment from RG, I’ve come up with a new crack theory: WW is Simba!

We’ve seen all the Oz hints with Regina but there’s also some Lion King hints too.

    1. As Phee pointed out in the 312 promo thread, Regina has a zebra print rug in her castle. (We know WW has issues with Regina and that she was walking through Regina’s castle in the 312 promo) Now zebras live in Africa where LIONS live.

    2. Regina had to deal with Felix who had a SCAR on his face.

    3. Cora held up Baby Regina as if she was participating in the CIRCLE of LIFE song.

    4. Henry is Regina’s son (alongside Emma’s and Neal’s) He stands to inherit Regina’s and Snowing’s kingdom and therefore JUST CAN’T WAIT TO BE KING

5 Regina’s “The two idiots” line refers to Snowing but could easily refer to Timon and Pumbaa in the original film.

    6. Regina has killed a king, exiled his offspring, and taken over his kingdom. Just like Scar did to Mufasa.

    So what do you think?

These are really good catches, and it makes me start to think…we did get a lot of Regina/Lion King references, and Adam and Eddy even admitted they were trying to replicate pride rock scene when Cora held Regina up!

    lol I love it.

So who’s Scar in this scenario, the evil uncle, is that WW?  Hoping to dethrone little Prince Henry (As I said in chat one day WIcked: “I’ll get you Regina (and Emma) and your little Henry too!”

First I thought WTF!! when I read your theory, but have to admit it makes some sence.. but you mean Regina is Simba then right? because of the pride rock reference? or perhaps Henry, but not the Wicked Witch right?

Im thinking WW would then be a “Scar like” character. In addition to being either the sister or aunt of Regina, like Scar was brother of Mufasa and uncle of Simba. That makes me think Regina could be referenced as the ‘Lion lacking courage’ from “wizard of Oz”.

There is also more Lion references coming our way with the Robin Hood storyline, because of the tatoo on his arm and we know Robin Hood is loyal too King Lionheart, in the original story.

Love it 🙂 Im definantly onboard with that theory.

That is a seriously cracky theory 😛 But then I was a staunch supporter of TeamBrothers (RIP TeamBrothers, you would have been great) so I can’t say anything.
