I also have never heard of Chernobobog before. But I find the fact very interesting that Koschei is one of his one incarnations because Koschei the Deathless reminds me a little bi on the Dark One.
Koschei is immortal because he put his soul inside of a needle, which is inside of an egg, inside of a duck, inside of a rabbit, inside of an iron chest, which is buried under a green oak the island of Bujan in the middle of the ocean.
When someone is in possession of the egg which the that nail inside it he is able to control Koschei. (Also this reminds on Pirates of Caribbean’s Davy Jones and Voldemort’s Horcruxes)
Supposedly if you embed the needle into Koschei’s head you can kill him

So the similarity is that both have to serve you when you have that thing which can kill him. I mean maybe Rumple is immortal but I don’t think it is because his soul is inside the dagger. He is still able to love Belle and Baelfire. So I’m not sure if this would be a good theory. (Maybe that ripping out the heart thing is based on Koschei?)
