Custody battle?

Based on a few things in the episode, I’m wondering if the final battle will culminate in a custody battle for Henry. Archie seems to threaten/hint that he will side with Emma over Regina as a witness in a possible court battle.

Archie [to Regina]: Because someday, Madam Mayor, you may find yourself in a custody battle. And you know how the court determines who is a fit parent? They consult an expert, particularly one who has treated the child. So, I suggest that you think about that, and you allow me to do my work, and let me do it as my conscience tells me to.

I do think that custody will become an issue in the show. Especially as Henry gets older.

I don’t think the custody battle will be the main battle, but it’ll certainly play a big part towards it. And props to Archie for standing up against Regina. One of my favorite moments from that episode 😀

I think that Regina will get really really angry when there is an issue over custody and even more angry when Emma gets custody and Emma wants it.

I think the custody battle will happen in season two. They might just drag it out a while, and have the odds always changing. But I think Emma will win whenever the battle actually happens. And who knows, the writers are amazing, so they’ll probably make the custody battle really awesome

I agree. I don’t think that they have time to do anymore but try and wrap up some of the questions that are already out there from this season. I imagine they will spend a few episodes on Kathryn’s disappearance, they need to answer questions about what Snow did that made the queen hate her, they need to work on Emma believing which i think they should have her either start to believe or full on believe by the end of the season, they need to give some more back story on why Rumpel is doing what he is doing with helping the queen do the curse and yet seemingly helping Snow and Charming save Emma to come back and break the curse. There is just a lot going on that they are going to have to answer without adding the custody and still be able to make a good season finale. I think the finale should be about Emma believing or maybe one other person getting back their memories.
