When I rewatched last night I noticed that Cyrus said he and his two brothers got cursed into the bottles at the same time. Also, all Cyrus needed to hear was a description of the bottles to know they were the ones he was looking for.

If they all got cursed at the same time, how does Cyrus know all this information? And is Cyrus has been moving from master to master, how could he look for his brothers?

    Amara. period.

But the interesting thing is he said the locator spell was a simple one that anyone could learn. You don’t need to be magical to do it.

Yes that was interesting. But does Cyrus has a spark inside that made it easier?

    That’s exacly what I thought!

New theory: Amara always had magical powers and so did her sons, but she kept their powers a secret from them.

Okay, who cursed the boys and made them genie’s? If Amara is their mother, I can’t see her doing something like on that purpose. Or maybe she did accidentally and has been trying to reverse the laws of magic because she screwed up.

It would be nice to have one parent on this show that feels horrible for past misdeeds.  The sultan still doesn’t regret anything.

I think she did something that caused a massive consequence–her sons becoming genies

It would be very Rumpelstiltskin if she accidentally did something that was meant to help them but actually ended up separating them from her.  Like okay, we saw with the Lizard, she made a very, very vague wish and it backfired.

Or maybe Amarra’s power comes from the fact that she used to be a genie and Cyrus and his brothers tried to find a way to free her without consequences and they did, except they were all cursed to be genie’s.

Maybe her vague wish was for her sons to be immortal and all powerful–the unintended consequence was that they became genies in bottles

Aw. That would make sense. It would certainly put an interesting twist to, “They’re growing up too fast! I wish for my boys to be young and beautiful forever.” Poof! They’re genies. Lol.

It’d be real cool if the genie who granted that wish was Sidney

What if one of Cyrus’ brother is Aladdin? We haven’t seen him yet.

That’d be a nice tie in. A and E did say in a recent interview that they have yet to bring in Aladdin and Jasmin and WL makes more sense right now.
