Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t it sound as if Eddy is saying that YenSid does exist and had the hat at one point but that it moved on to someone else? I mean, he says the word “now” which i take to mean that whoever the sorcerer is, he has the hat NOW and that he always didnt have it.

At least we now have confirmation she’s returning to the land of the living…the possibility of Marian being really Zelena seems to be quite plausible now.
So, to recap: 1. Zelena, who died, is back (and will apparently hang out with Regina). 2. August, who turned into a boy, is back as a man. 3. Maleficent, who died, is back. 4. Cruella can turn into a dog. 5. Rumple is now a EVIL character. I don’t know what to make of this half-season anymore.

Yep…after they died a couple of times of course. 🙂 But do they really get the happy ending? Or are they just doomed to suffer in life.

I’m starting to think that there might be many different sorcerers/sorceresses, similar to there being a lineage of dark ones. Rumple is the current-day dark one, but there were many others before him. What if Merlin or YenSid was merely a past sorcerer in a large succession of sorcerers? What if Lily is the present-day sorceress?

That might work, too. Maybe she is set to inherit and/or take the scorer’s hat for her own, thereby securing the succession passing to her. That would mirror how Rumple became the dark one by taking the dagger from the previous dark one. In support of this is what A&E said in the interview:
D23: You’ve revealed the Sorcerer’s hat—and shown its great power. But we have yet to meet the Sorcerer himself. Will it be Yensid, and will he come to retrieve that which belongs to him?
Adam: It’s something we’ll explore in much greater depth in the second half of the season. And in the premiere there is some iconography from Fantasia that makes an appearance.
Eddy: And hats can be passed on. So we’ll have our own Once twist on it and who it belongs to now.However, I hope Lily wouldn’t have to kill the sorcerer to be come the next would-be sorceress, the way Rumple had to kill Zoso to inherit the title of dark one, but it’s possible. Lily/Lilith sounds like she is not entirely all good or entirely bad, seeing how her adult character’s casting call said Lily has a penchant for making trouble and alienating people, while secretly longing for love. If Lily is or is set to become the sorceress, she may have mixed motives.

Well it would explain why Marian suddenly started freezing again, if it turned out Zelena did that to herself on purpose knowing it would mean Robin would leave town and separate from Regina in order to save her. None of Ingrid’s other victims randomly reverted to their freezing state like Marian did. And of course, it would make even more sense why TLK didn’t work between her and Robin. If they were to go the fake Marian route, it would also be a way for them to whitewash the moral issues Outlaw Queen faced following Marian’s “return.”

Zelena being weird…this is the same Zelena who was rubbing on Snow White’s belly. Even Rebecca Mader and Ginny Goodwin thought that was weird.
And it would explain why Robin Hood was confused about seeing Marian again, considering he thought it was his fault that Marian had died.

I think it was verified in an earlier article that Zelena coming back in a flashback.
It was. But the issue is that they never said that it wasn’t present day Zelena in the past, like Hook and Emma were in 322. The fact that they said they have a fun little story with Zelena that they put into place last makes me think that Matt might on to something with regards to Marian as Zelena. I hate and loathe this idea, just for the record.
