We know that they don’t actually use a shadow to get back to SB because the JR makes it back to SB at the docks.
I’m pretty sure that Hook has never been to Dark Hollow since he said, “even I managed to avoid it.”

Keeper of FelixI really liked the sneak peek. Even though I am a CS fan, I really felt for Neal. MJR plays Neal in an understated fashion, but he looked hurt. It has to hurt that the man his mother abandoned him for has had a “dailance” with the women Neal professes to love and to know that Hook is very seductive. Even teen Bae was drawn to Hook in a nin-sexual way. It would bring up all sorts of insecurities and abandonment issues.
This is going to be a messy triangle. To me, hook is being sincere but also conflicted. I hope this fats resolved by end sea second half of the season.
