KeymasterThe good news is that Supergirl did well for the CW–a 1.1 in the demo

I’m glad the show is exploring the serious consequences of Barry’s changing the timeline; and I like that it can’t be undone. Watching Cisco this episode was *hard* because he’s always been so positive and warm and uplifting.
I have to be slightly critical on a few things
–While the Felicity/Barry scenes had a lot of the quirky funny going on, the rest of the show is getting so weighted down in the same angst as Arrow. I don’t need two “Arrows” I want some of the “fun” back.
–With that said, this is still my favorite CW/DC show and I love how much emotion everyone puts into it. You really feel how strong the characters are together and when they are apart or not as strong, it really hits you.
–“You’ll always be Barry. And I’ll always be Iris. And we’ll always find each other.”
–Seriously. Where is Harrison Wells?
–Draco!
–Draco is Alchemy, right? We can all agree on that? Unless they pull a Eddie–give him a name that resembles the DC comic name and then somehow bait and switch
–Cisco absolutely broke my heart
–LOL at having the 1998 diner playing Dawson’s Creek, which stared John Wesley Shipp

ParticipantThe in-show reason is probably Pod Guy.
Yup, they’re totally gonna have her date PodGuy. Which I guess if you’re Kara, it’s the easier relationship option to date someone from your own species, so it makes sense that they’re gonna do that. But the way they got to the point of her being single again was SO abrupt. They even made a point to point out that this ep picked up from last season’s finale without a time jump. Kara told Cat is had only been 12 hours since the new job offer. So to have Kara and James slam into a brick wall THAT fast, just smacked of them going it to force some plot contrivance. *sigh*
Speaking of James, how’s this for a spoiler. Wonder if that’s something they’ve had planned for James’ character since the beginning? Back when everyone was speculating what Diggle’s codename would be, this was right at the top of the list because it made so much sense, but maybe they couldn’t use it for him be because they had it on hold for James?

KeymasterArrow 5×2
I liked a lot of what happened this episode, especially all the parallel stories about teamwork and fresh faces be it The Green Arrow with his recruits, Ollie and the Bratva, or Digg and the Army. It’s nice to see so many threads working together even if their plots have nothing to do with one another. Last year’s flashbacks were not my favorite mainly because they felt too close to the Star City plot at hand and I prefer the flashbacks to be thematic.
–Thea Queen is one of the true heroes on this show. I about cried when she gave PapaLance a reason to stay sober by inviting him to work for the Mayor’s office. Thea has come so far since S1. Also, I sorta agree with Quentyn: the wrong Queen is mayor. Let’s face it, Ollie will always choose the Green Arrow over being a respectable politician because he wants things done his way and on his timetable. And that’s fine, it’s part of Ollie’s make up as a person but it does not a good mayor make. Thea on the other hand…she’s good at this. Very good.
–Oliver and Felicity were adorable this episode. Their love story is in a serious timeout but they are still Olicity for everything non-romantic.
–So many new recruits! So we have Wild Dog, Evelyn Sharp, Curtis “Mr Terrific” and Ragman. It’s hard not to notice that Ollie has essentially put his old team back together with new people: Roy is a lot like Wild Dog; Curtis is Felicity; Ragman has the same “do it for our fathers” feel as Ollie, and I think Evelyn is going to be a heady mix of Thea and Laurel. The only one you can’t replace is Digg.
–“He’s not gonna kill you, I’m just here to make the horrible maiming stays at a minimum”
–I honestly did not expect the Bratva to shoot those other people. That shocked me as much as Ollie.
–I think Ragman is going to be the most interesting of the new recruits given his story. His interactions with Felicity should prove…fun.
–This must be how Digg comes back to Star City. And…hopefully to Lyla? And now Baby John (soon to call himself Conner Hawke…)

KeymasterLegends of Tomorrow 2×1
–OMG what a ridiculously fun episode!
–Everyone this week felt totally in character–Sara’s pain over Laurel being channeled into revenge; Ray acting like a Know-It-All Boy Scout; Mick with his zingers; Rip having multiple plans and never really letting anyone in on them; Jax and Stein being incredibly competent.
–The JSA showing up at the end. Now, I’m not as well versed on them as others but we have: Citizen Steel (well, future one since Nate Haywood is still Nate Haywood? But also the Past Version of Citizen Steel) , Vixen, Dr Mid-Nite, Obsidian, and Star Girl.
–I never fully realized how badly I need Kara and Sara in a room together.
–Soooo…..where’d Rip go?
–Darhk and Eobard Thawne teaming up is EXCELLENT.

Don’t have a lot to say but…
–I loved every single minute of this episode
–Goodbye Cat. I’m sure we’ll meet again, though.
–Superman, you’ll be missed. He was fantastic the past two episodes
