Princess Tiana (Mekia Cox) will finally meet her Prince Naveen.

Beyond star Jeff Pierre is set to recur as Prince Naveen in Season 7 of ABC’s fantasy drama series Once Upon A Time. The character from Disney feature The Princess and the Frog will be introduced in the March 9 episode titled “A Taste of the Heights”.

We figured that one was a Tiana centric so that seems like solid confirmation.

I’m interested to see how they’ll work him into Tiana’s story considering how they’ve already changed things. Will he be a frog at some point, or do they consider that element of the story “already done” in 7×05 with the random guy who was a frog? Nice to see he’ll be recurring.
