PriceofMagic
ParticipantAs weird as it sounds, I think this may be Jekyll and Hyde, only they’re brothers (as the casting call said) instead of a split personality.

ParticipantThey may not have ask always been brothers, but could have spilt as part of the curse. so now the Doctor is ironically a patient, ans his caretaker is his evil alter ego.
Never read the story so idk."I could have the giant duck as my steed!" --Daniel Radcliffe

Never read the story so idk. That sounds like an interesting way to do it… which probably means they won’t do it that way. I’ve not read the book either.
Jekyll and Hyde just seemed to fit for me.

ParticipantGlad they ended up not being the Grimms. The way the characters were described, the relationship they were gonna have, would have been kind of insulting to the actual Brothers Grimm.

ParticipantI’m not so sure we can rule out their being the Brothers Grimm yet, but I really like the theory of their being Hyde and Jekyll.

Oh that’s intriguing. That’s a very good idea, POM
And in other news…this is the most random thing I’ve ever heard. But…at least it’s surprising.

ModeratorThe more that I think about it, the more that I seriously think that Jacob and Nathaniel are completely original characters not based on any specific pre-existing pieces of fiction. That could be what “An Untold Story” is implying. That these characters’ story has never been told before in any shape or form. If they are, I just hope that they’re a huge improvement over Greg and Tamara.

THAT
But given that there seems to be planning with these two new guys, I’m #hopeful that they won’t GOAT these two new guys.

ParticipantI’m thinking we’re going to get a storyline that strongly parallels the story of Alice being the asylum, and people told her she was crazy to believe in Wonderland. But, then Will and the White Rabbit came and busted her out. Even though Adam tweeted that it wasn’t all happening in Emma’s head, I could imagine a scenario in which she is falsely accused of having invented the stories. Then Henry comes to her rescue, because he is the author and has to power to write her out. Or something like that.

I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if this was about Henry, not Emma. After all, the show started with the question of whether maybe Henry was crazy. Especially now that the author storyline has been resurrected, and if Henry pursues a (misguided) effort to “whitewash” Emma through resurrecting Cruella, he might be the one who gets institutionalized.
