I think he looks like he is from the Charming family, but he could be any of the three. He looks no more like Hook’s son then like an adult Henry or an older baby Neal.
[adrotate group="5"]I never believed that they would go with adult anyone, remember that they usually lie on the casting calls, but yeah, but if he really is a version adult, i will say baby Neal, and like someone said black fairy takes him to dark realm, but still say this is a decoy, also remember if they get a S7 and they really want to revamp the show, without many characters they may not have new characters connected to past ones, where they will need them to present or flashbacks, in that case all present cast would stay and there was no need or revamp anything, bc they would still have the same cast, only a repeat of past storylines, like gideon.

Wow, I must seriously be in the minority because I think this looks so much like it could be Hook and Emma’s son. He looks just like a young Hook would look. The black hair…he looks a little edgy. I can’t picture that actor playing an adult Henry based on the two roles I’ve seen him in (the villain type character in The Walking Dead acting as a cannibal, and Damien, the bad shady guy from Dead of Summer). Now you’re telling me he’s going to play adult Henry? No friking way. It’s Hook’s son.
There’s been speculation on this forum that the series will end with Emma having another child and starting a new chapter in her life. With the uncertainty about contracts and season 7, this new actor could be for a flash-forward to Emma’s “happily ever after”.
I mean like “Sleeping in Light” or “All Good Things” (B5 and ST:TNG). A finale, not a replacement cast.
If season 7 gets the green light, then we can have flashforwards instead of flashbacks.

I always pictured Emma have a girl, though. One big circle back to the Pilot. And if they want a new person to take up the lead role, making it male seems totally out of left field for A and E. Whether or not this show is actually “strong female” focused, A and E *believe* it is.
So having this guy be a CS kid (who shows up with his daughter) doesn’t quite feel right. But having this be Henry (with his daughter) feels more like OUAT because Henry is already an established character with strong ties to the history and narrative of 6 seasons. In other words, if they are going to hang their hat on a new (non female) character, it’s better to hang it on one who’s already known to the audience.
Also, those two pictures are a bit misleading. The first one, posted by @WickedRegal, does look a bit more Hook-ian. The second, posted by @MatthewPaul, looks more Henry (especially with the plaid shirt and blue coat). But neither is how the writers might envision their new character. And just because he’s played a bad guy in other shows doesn’t mean he is here. That’s just typecasting. Like, Colin isn’t going to spend the rest of his life playing a pirate, for example.

He has most of Hook’s features and Emma’s eyes.
But think about the casting call too. Even when we disagreed about the girl (CS daughter or Henry’s daughter) we all thought the call for the adult male was Henry.

LOL yes. It could all be coincidental and the character could just be a random nobody or heretofore unseen Disney villain/literature villain/mythological villain (or hero)
