I’d be fine with losing August or Sidney. Preferably both.

I also think Sidney will be next on the list to die. Regina has threatened Sidney a couple of times. The first was in episode 2, The Thing You Love Most, when she said, “Do you know what I do with things that have no value to me? I throw them away.” Now that Emma has discovered the bug Sidney planted in the vase of flowers, it seems like Sidney is no longer of any value to Regina.

If anything, he’d be a liability to her. The bug is evidence that whatever Regina’s been up to, Sidney’s been helping her. As long as he’s alive, there’s the chance that Emma can question him and get incriminating evidence out of him.

I’d be bummed for him if he died, coz it’s not his fault he’s evil, he just became infatuated with the wrong gal.

Also, in the promo for the rest of the season, there is a scene of Regina smashing a mirror in SB. If it's true that the mirror is still magic in SB, then it seems like she is effectively getting rid of Sidney.

Ooo, nice catch! Though even if the mirror ISN'T still magical, that scene could still be symbolic of Sidney's impending demise.

I agree. I think that Sidney’s days are numbers. I don’t see that his character adds anything to the show now that Emma knows that he is working for Regina. Regina won’t have any use for him anymore now that she can’t use him against Emma – he doesn’t serve any other real purpose in SB. In less, of course, they start to have the characters pick sides and once he discovers that Emma realizes what he has been up to and that she is gaining more power he decides to switch teams.

But I also have to say that after seeing the promo picture of the broken mirror, I wondered if that was symbolic of Regina killing Sidney. Kind of like how when she squeezed Graham's heart, he died. Maybe if she breaks one of her mirrors, Sidney will die.

Why do you want August to die? 😥

Not a fan. And I don’t want to have to deal with an August and Emma romance.

I wouldn’t mind August dying either. I don’t really like the character all that much, but he has been better in the last few episodes. And i agree i would rather not see a romance between Emma and August. The character just seems so awkward and cryptic. I don’t understand why Emma would work with him when she knows so little about him.

Well, Emma has demonstrated some questionable character judgement. She trusted Sydney, she trusted Mr. Gold and now she’s trusting August. But at least August seems to be the more trustworthy of the three. 😉

That is very true. Emma’s judgement has been suspect as of late. I think that with the deleted scene where August finds Emma with Mary at Jefferson’s house and he takes Mary back to the jail before Regina can show up it would make more sense that Emma would let him help by going to the crime scene. It still works though.

I agree that Sydney is realistically the most vulnerable at this point. Not only is his character pretty “used up” so to speak, but there might be scheduling issues with the actor. I honestly wouldn’t mind his death very much. I thought that he was pretty decent until the “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” episode. After that, I just wanted to strangle him.

And I don’t want August to die. I’m starting to really like him.
