I’m with hjbau, Henry is key. And there are too many children watching this show for them to kill off Henry. They will do something creative if the show is still going when he starts growing, he will get kidnapped or something, or if they do it right, it can be a normal thing.

But there are lots of other characters who could die. Belle would be heartbreaking. Ruby? Her granny?

I think Henry’s young enough (or at least innocent enough) that the TV trope of infant immortality will apply to him. I guarantee you even if Regina nukes the entire town Henry will not die. And being that he’s her kid, it’ll make perfect sense.

I agree with you about Archie though. He’s peripheral enough he could be lost if the show lasts awhile. Belle dying (again?) could be another catalyst for the Rumpel/Regina war.

I don’t think Henry is that important for the plot any more. He served his purpose, so to say. He brought Emma to Storybrook, told her what’s going on there, who is who etc. showed her the book and got her interested in it. He already is hardly existent on the show, he shows up to deliver a line or two per episode or he doesn’t show up at all.
The show could easily do without him, I think. There are two things, however, working for him: the fact that he is a child ( it is highly unlikely that a child character gets killed off) and the unresolved Emma’s parental issues.

I think he is way too important because of his importance to Emma. Emma would no longer be the same character if they killed Henry. That is a show ender in my opinion.

Given that “dying” in SB doesn’t seem to mean what it means in other towns in the US, as evidenced by Kathryn’s recent events, I guess any of the characters could “die” before the end of the season and be back as strong as ever for season 2!

I don’t think Kathryn was ever dead. Regina fixed the results of the DNA for the heart. Where she was we don’t know, but she was never dead, in my opinion. Dead really needs to be dead.

WE WILL FIND OUT ABOUT REGINA’S MISS DEEDS TONIGHT… I am sure Emma and her will have a face off of some type… or maybe MM and Regina after that conformation in the jail… SNOW was going to rip off REGINA’s head in FTL at the wedding… MAMMA BEAR will be really turned loose if Regina threatens her kid / her grandkid.

I think both August and Sidney are not going to survive thru the end of the season.

As sad as it is, it’s not looking too good for August right now, unless by some miracle, Emma can save him via believing in magic. Also, I think Sidney has run out of utility for Regina. She did stick the blame on him for Kathryn’s abduction, but no one really believes that, not even Emma. I think he’s a weak character and so easily discarded.
