Isn’t this supposed to be the episode that has Belle as the centric character. Would make sense. Out of all of the women on here, she definitely seems to be the outcast. No close friends or really loving family. Not yet.

But this is also the episode where Hook is around in SB? With Belle? So it could be referring to him. And if Rumple hasn’t told Belle about Hook, she wouldn’t know to stay away from him. Hook comes to SB, sees that Rumple has found true love. What better revenge for Milah than to take Belle?

after Rumplestiltskin kicks Belle out of his castle and before the Regina capture her she is traveling alone and most likely by foot. chances are she stumble upon a small village which treated like an outsider.

    ^That’s a good theory. ๐Ÿ™‚

Personally, I think the title is referring to Belle’s feelings of loneliness and abandonment after separating from Rumpel and being locked up by the Evil Queen. She’s spent her entire life as a prisoner. First it was living under the thumb of her father, then it was living with Rumpel and then it was when Regina locked her up. She’s been treated like an outisder her entire life. ๐Ÿ™

I had a new theory about this title that it is truly about phillip being the outsider cause no one could understand him and once someone could he was refealed as philip, this is crazy theory but just thought of it

Keeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry

As sad that is ๐Ÿ™ I like this theory. With her being who she (her status) is in her village she was likely treated as an outsider by the other villagers. And as a woman she would have been treated as an outsider by the men of her life. She told Rumple that women were limited in what they could do and she seemed to be interested in things that not many women pursued. Then in some ways she became an outsider in Rumple’s castle because of his fear of true love. She became an outsider during her travels (the usual apprehension that villagers have towards strangers).

She definitely has been a prisoner her whole life. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ
