Did anyone notice the Insane Ward?

Hi all, have no idea if anyone’s noticed it, but i’ve seen this episode a couple of times and i have been bugged that i’ve seen this ward somewhere, or the people look familiar… the feeling…

now that i’m quietly going to bed… it clicked!!!

If you haven’t noticed look again… that nurse’s hair, that long haired guy with the broom….

have you ever seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest ???

I would bet my bottom dollar that one of the series’s makers is a huge fan of this movie, because the Nurse looks exactly like that horrible one, and the silent tall long haired guy reminds me so much of that Indian

Somewhere in one of the forums people already talked about it (no clue which one, so many topics now). Kitsis&Horowitz actually commented on this and said that the nurse and the guy where a tribute to One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. 😉

I mean going on the theory that everyone in the insane asylum knows FTL. Jefferson knows FTL. Henry may not know it but he believes in it and he does see Dr, Hopper. Could Regina sent him to Hopper in hopes that he can give her a reason to commit him to the cuckoo for cocoa puffs ward?? but Hopper man-ed up and finally stood up to her which threw a monkey wrench into that plan?

I think Ragina keeps those that remember FTL down in the insane asylum so they can’t inform the rest of StoryBrooke what they know.
I don’t think Ragina has a plan to send more people down there, at least not yet because not even Gold knows Belle is there.
I do hope that we get to see more of the insane asylum/ lower level of the hospital because we were left with questions such as; who else is down there? Who is the nurse? Who is the janitor? Do the people of StoryBrooke even know those citizens exist? And if Gold knows and sees so much how come he can’t see that Belle is alive?

Ok, good…..now FairyTale Princess lets go along with what you said. I will now add that I believe Wonderland is kind of a prison world. Two people enter and two leave. It was suggeted that howeve many people enter that many can leave. The maze, the guards and the hedges. The Queen of Hearts is in affect the Prison Warden as well as a prisoner herself. Prison Wardens are like Kings and Queens in a way. So Wonderland is the prison world of FTL, where those who go there are either exiled there. I do not see anyone wanting to go there on purpose.
