It sure seemed that Hook killed the Giant.
I guess it’s possible that the Giant is still alive. I know that Jorge Garcia is returning, but it could possibly be in a flashback so that doesn't really help.
What does everyone else think?
[adrotate group="5"]I think they want us to believe the Giant is dead. Maybe Hook and the giant had a little heart-to-heart while hook was chained up. Maybe they reached an agreement over the bean.
Or maybe Hook killed the giant for the bean.
It did seem like he killed the giant, but bear in mind, the giant is … a giant, and Hook was chained up to begin with. And the giant probably took precautions and hid Jack’s sword before he let Hook loose. He also had ten hours to convince the giant that he was trustworthy, and I think he can be a convincing liar when he wants to be. So it’s entirely possible that he could have taken the bean and started climbing down the beanstalk before the giant could squish him.
I don’t think he killed the giant he either stole the bean or he charmed the giant into giving it to him .. I think from what we’ve seen Hook isn’t the type to just kill.. He didn’t have to kill the giant so I don’t think he did..
I think the giant is dead, because Hook was upset and wants the bean and one of this reasons are enough to kill the last giant in the whole realm.The giant will be his trophy and the gold in the castle will be his when he comes back.

Hook didn’t have to kill Belle but he would’ve had Regina not stolen his Hook before he made the killer blow.
