None of the characters in this show seem to be aware of the already-existing story Alice in Wonderland, which is odd as Emma knew what the story was in the original Once Upon a Time show.

Charming was aware. Or at least David Nolan had memories of it.

Henry: It’s the Mad Hatter’s hat. It’s a portal between worlds.

    David: The Mad Matter…

    Henry: You’ve heard of him?

David: No. I-I mean, yeah. I mean, the prince me doesn’t know him, but David had memories of reading Alice in Wonderland in school. I need to get it to work again. Who is he? I-I mean, who is he here?

I think the idea is that they think she’s crazy because she’s acting like Wonderland actually exists rather than just being a place in a book. They even pointed out that most unhappy kids create this kind of world in their heads that they’re in to get away from it all (or in her case, especially since her name is Alice, imagine that she is actually the Alice that goes to Wonderland…) so they just think she’s crazy because she believes in it. Doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve never heard of it (especially since they have on OUAT, I agree with you there).

Or do you mean in the new show? Sorry, should have checked which forum this was posted to.

It’s like in ONCE. Snow is aware that her story in known, but she also knows that it’s not what really happened.

This is Alice in Once. There is no other Alice. She is the one from the story, but we got her story wrong when it came through to our world somehow.
