Everyone —
I have what could be bad news. I saw a couple of tweets today, that have me concerned that the writers may have already killed off Hook.
From wha
Colin O’Donoghue (colinodonoghue1) retweeted a tweet from somebody carbon-copied to him, and to someone else. The person who tweeted this, is a makeup artist, and it was carbon-copied to a hair stylist. Yes, I read their tweets and apparently, they’ve been filming this week.
The tweet I’m concerned about read “The Pirate has left the Building”. It sounds like “The Pirate” (Hook) has made his exit.
I’m not the only one who is concerned about this. Somebody else tweeted to ask if this is bad news for the #hookers. I don’t see anything in the twitterverse answering that question.
And, how dare those writers! How dare them play with my heart this way? I thought Colin O’Donoghue was a regular cast member!
If they’ve killed off Hook, I will be super-p.o.’d about it. I mean mad enough, that I’m not sure I’ll want to keep watching the show. It’d just hurt to watch it. At least, for a while. I’m not a glutten for punishment.[adrotate group="5"]December 5, 2012 at 9:48 pm #163839midnight drearyParticipantOk, who the heck keeps posting these random “is Hook dead threads?” 😆 I’ve seen like 3 in the past week. “The pirate has left the building” means Colin has left the set. Calm down. 😆

Or maybe he finished filing a few scenes and didn’t have to be on set at the moment. 🙂 There are a ton of explanations for it. Think he is going to be around for a while.

Maybe now he has changed to fit in- as in changing his clothes etc. But i am positive that he is not killed and will most likely never be killed. They are not going to build up this character and show his backstory, only to have him killed. It just doesnt make sense.

Exactly! They don’t hype up a character that much if they’re gonna kill him off after only half a season. They have big and awesome ideas for their version of Hook, and they’re gonna take a while to play out. Colin recently said he hasn’t shot any Neverland stuff yet, and do people honestly think they’re gonna show the guy going to Neverland then kill him off before showing him in Neverland? Surely there’ll be at least a couple of Neverland eps in the future, they will absolutely want to show Peter and Tink and the Lost Boys at some point, and Hook is obviously part of that story. K&H have said that Peter Pan is their fave story, so they’re not gonna kill off one of the main characters without telling his story.
We also need to see more of his history with Cora, we need to see his future in SB, particularly in relation to Rumple, Regina and Emma. We need to see how he traveled back to FTL from Neverland. We need to see how he learned that there was a weapon that can kill the Dark One. They’re only a couple of eps ahead with shooting at the moment, and all of the potential for Hook’s character simply cannot have played out in the space of a couple of eps.
And apart from all of that, Hook is such a hit with fans that it’d just be a stupid business move to get rid of him. Hook isn’t going anywhere any time soon, so people need to stop stressing!

I think that it would be a very bad move to kill off Hook; just look how he has helped the ratings! The Captain is here to stay for a long while. 😀
