That is a good theory but I don’t think it is possible because of the glamour spell.
What I meant was Marian was pregnant when Zelena took her form and turned into Marian, so Zelena took on the baby herself. I would agree with you that she is still Zelena “on the inside” and not Marian, but Adam said (on twitter?) that Zelena changing her form made her heart like Marians (we saw Marians heart taken out in 4A and people wondered why it was so light and not dark if it was Zelena the whole time) so in this particular case, I think Zelena is marian on the inside as well when she shapeshifts. I could totes be wrong about everything I just said though…I really don’t know with this show anymore xD The spell of the necklace that changes her into Marian is probably only a glamour spell, the biggest evidence to this is that the mirror saw Zelena as what she really was. If she had shapeshifted then she would have appeared only as Marian so yeah. Better yet, just forget everything I said :3 tis all so confusing.
Here is a screenshot of my conversation with Jane about glamor spells. She indicated that “glamor is an illusion…the thing that’s shifting is perception.” The spell does not change the form of the person wearing the necklace but rather the spell works on the people looking at the person wearing the necklace. They “see” the person as if they were someone else. The same with Marian’s heart…the viewer of the heart is under the illusion of a glamor spell and thus sees the heart as if it were Marian’s heart but it the viewer was not under a glamor spell they would see that the heart is Zelenas. I don’t think I would have understood it without her explanation.

For the longest time I thought that when Cora, Regina etc changed to look like someone else it was shapeshifting but when I tweeted Jane Espenson she took some time to explain glamour spells to me. She indicated that there had not been any shapeshifting on Once and that it had all been glamour spells. She explained that when it is a glamour spell the person does not really change form it just looks that way to other people. By the time we finished tweeting my head was spinning but I got a clearer picture. In Zelena’s case, her form does not change so she would have her own eggs. The glamour spell works on the people who see you…not changing your form. I appreciated Jane taking the time to explain because I am pretty sure I never would have figured that out.
I did not know that. I thought Cora did shapeshift though because when Regina was learning magic in The Evil Queen, she wanted to learn that spell but Rumple said that it took Cora months to master and that Regina would only be able to give herself highlights if she was lucky. I think Zelena is actually pregnant with her own baby rather than having someone else’s. I wonder if Ingrid actually saw through the glamour spell hence why she decided to freeze Marian. It served her purposes and also taught Zelena a little lesson.
I thought it was shapeshifting too. I am glad Jane explained.

If Zelena is pregnant I think it is possible there may be a twist that we don’t know about. When Robin and Regina were together it was made clear that it was more than one time in the same night. This is very similar to when Cora and fake prince Jonathan were together more than one time in one night and Cora conceived Zelena (not comparing the relationships just the number of times they were together). What if Regina did become pregnant and Zelena magically transplanted the preborn baby from Regina to Zelena. This would be a great twist to a rotten situation.
IDEA: Zelena is pregnant. But she is not the mother. Nor is Regina. MARIAN is the mother. When Zelena (and regina in the original timeline) killed Marian, maybe she was pregnant. So the baby, which is indeed not a lie, is a real baby but the true child of Marian/Robin. Whether or not that makes the situation worse or better….Idk. But its possible. I like the idea of Zelena taking Regina’s child moreso than the one I just said but still.
Both theories are awesomely twisted. I love it. Couldn’t we just have Maleficent look at Zelena and see if she’s pregnant for real? She was able to tell with Snow and Snow didn’t know herself.
So true! Or…let’s find Ruth’s necklace and see if it is a boy or a girl…or maybe a dreamcatcher could work like an ultrasound…on second thought strike that because we may see more than we bargained for.
