The trailer for Disney’s 52nd full-length film is out.

Wreck it Ralph is about this “villain” in an arcade video game, who destroys buildings. He doesn’t want to not be appreciated for what he does, so he ends up visiting other video games … And now the really cool thing: Actual video game LEGENDS appear in this movie! Bowser, Sonic, Ghosts (from Pac-Man) and many more. It’s soooo cool! 😀

    Watch in HD if possible!

Actually looks pretty good. I had my doubts, but maybe I’ll be proven wrong. Does Disney have the rights to these game characters? Or was permission given to use them? Let’s see, in the villian meeting I caught:

    Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog)
    Bowser (Super Mario Bros)
    Orange Ghost (Pac-Man)
Zangief and M Bison (Street Fighter)
    Kano (Mortal Kombat)
    Horned Reaper (Dungeon Keeper)
    Zombie with Hatchets (Castlevania?)
    possibly Cutman (Mega Man)
not sure who the purple girl is

Latter, I should think. The characters are copyright of the designers as well as game companies. Don’t want to know how much Disney had to pay … Maybe it’s also a co-op, as so many companies seem to have an appearance.
