I mean, when Zelena showed up at Rumple’s shop and she used magic on her, do you think Belle will remember that Zelena used magic on her? Unless that freezing spell included a little something extra, I think Belle will be instrumental towards figuring out Zelena is the Wicked Witch.

Knowing these writes, they had Zelena quickly erase her memory before she walked out of the shop.

But gosh I hope not. I’d love it if Belle calls up Snow and Charming and is like, “um..so this woman was just here…”

Considering the big confrontation happens very soon someone has to figure this out.

Zelena could have also wiped Belle’s memory too but Zelena probably doesn’t know yet that the Charmings have broken into her farmhouse.  It shouldn’t be difficult from there to figure out who owns it.

Good question. The lock from the outside look liked it has been opened by someone smashing it open? But Rumple’s cage is also locked. So the only two candidates are Belle and Neal. Unless Rumple opened in a fit of sanity.

I don’t think Belle or Neal know that Rumple’s alive yet, so I’m going with Rumple freed himself.

I’m pretty sure Belle’s gonna be pivotal in solving who Zelena is at some point, but if Zelena just froze her and didn’t leave any tracks, Belle wouldn’t remember being frozen in place/time for a couple minutes.

Unless she looked at a clock.  She’d know that a significant amount of time had passed that she can’t account for.

Presuming that Zelena unfroze her and finished off the transaction, Belle would have been a bit distracted from checking the clock before and after. And Zelena got into the safe very quickly…so I don’t think so much time passed that Belle would get suspicious over that.

That’s a good point. Did she just walk out of the shop or did she stay and finish her business. If it’s the latter then yeah, Belle will be incredibly suspicious. If it’s the former then it may not register for her.

Belle’s the smarty pants of the crew, I think she’ll figure things out quickly and be instrumental in piecing the puzzle together.  She’s a tough girl, but physically fighting isn’t really her forte so I think she’s definitely the brains behind the brawn.
