In tonight’s episode, Regina told little SW that Daniel had left, that things had changed. I am wondering if SW grew up believing this and really doesn’t know, especially after the scene with MM at the jail? And then the question is how long will her revenge last, forever? I suppose that is what she wants because she can never have a happy ending for herself — no more happy endings.

It appears that Regina keeps her secret even until after the king’s death (when they embrace). Think about it, Regina keeps her secret for nearly 10 years, right? We have know reason to suspect that SW has found out otherwise. Maybe she only thinks that Regina is upset about Daniel’s departure or that Regina is jealous of the kings love of SW as seen in the Genie episode. Maybe what we have assumed (jealousy.. etc) is actually what SW thinks.

I think you’re right. Snow believes that her father’s love for her is the reason Regina hates her so much. Regina would’ve never confided in Snow again after this event. And who else could have told Snow about what happened to Daniel? No, I think she remains ignorant to this day. She knows she’s the cause for Regina’s pain, but doesn’t quite no the real reason.

Regina defiantely went from Sister, Sister to Mean Girl after the events we saw and being secrative isn’t out of teh question. She could also have wanted to destroy Snow’s chances at Hapilly Ever After just as Snow initiated the death of hers.
There’s also more of a potential for drama by not telling her the truth. When Mary Margaret does regain her Snow White memories (and let’s face it, that’s the direction we’re heading in, possibly and probably by the end of the season), she can confront Regina.

Something that bothered me about last night’s episode was that SW seemed to really LOVE the idea of getting a new mother and she really seemed to LOVE Regina. She seemed very trusting and open of her, she seemed to really want her to be happy. When Regina was in her wedding dress she told her that she “was the fairest of them all.”
Fast forward to the “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree.” SW seemed almost oblivious of Regina in that episode. The King basically ignored Regina and said that he couldn’t love her the way he should. The King talked about how he loved his FIRST wife at his birthday party and told SW that SHE “was the fairest of them all” just like her mother used to be – right in front of Regina and Snow didn’t seem to think that was odd, in fact she was flattered. I DID feel sorry for Regina in that episode at that part. I’m a second wife and I thought to myself “Wow, that is incredibly inappropriate and hurtful.” It was the KING’S birthday, NOT Snow’s birthday so it wasn’t an appropriate time to be reminiscing about your dead first wife and how much your daughter reminds you of her – especially in front of your second wife. That seemed strange to me after the way Snow carried on with Regina when she was young. It seemed like Snow would have recognized that Regina’s feelings would have been hurt. So it seems like something else must have gone on. I don’t know if Snow told the King that Regina had been in love with Daniel and didn’t actually love him and that’s why he wasn’t able to love her.
At one point Snow told Regina how much Regina was going to love the palace and Cora said “Oh, I know WE will” so it sounds like Cora is moving there too. So maybe it isn’t just this past episode that is the problem. Maybe when (because I think she probably does) Regina kills her mother because she killed Daniel and she inherits her evilness, she then blames Snow for not only Daniel’s death but for the state of her life. Maybe that’s how Snow finds out that Daniel is dead – maybe Snow knows that Regina killed her mother.
Because at the end of the FTL section last night, even after Regina’s voice changed, Regina turned back to her mother and realized that she had staged the whole thing – that Snow’s horse taking off had been because her mother used magic to make it happen. So right now in FTL, she still DOES blame her mother for everything. Once she takes care of her mother then she can turn her vengence toward Snow. But I still think there will be more that happens between Snow and Regina.

I don’t know about that though. Snow should never be near her again after the huntsman incident. Maybe they just say that Snow killed her father.

We do know Henry Sr lives at King Leopold’s castle with Regina.
Also, a new thought. Previously, it has been tossed around that Daniel may have been transformed into Regina’s cherished apple tree (myself included). We now know this is incorrect. What if Cora is the one changed into the apple tree and that is how it becomes the source of Regina’s magic.

Question: In the pilot, Snow says about Regina: “she gave me a poisoned apple because she thought I was prettier than her.” How do we get from “I hate Snow because she took away my true love” to “she’s prettier than me?
“
This would perhaps go to the fact that Snow doesn’t know.
