I noticed that too. Are there any other worlds or dimensions that are associated by the color green other than Oz? Maybe we’re missing something. Hmmm…

Also: The writers have confirmed that OZ is not an “if,” but a “when.” Really, she show has just been a series of hints, clues, and tricks leading us to OZ πAs for why there’s ANOTHER green door… well, it could really be ANYTHING. Maybe the writers will begin to make up their own worlds and/or fairy tales whose stories never got crossed over to our world.
Maybe the green represents one specific object that we’re completely overlooking from a story.
The circle on the other door looks like a really light blue, maybe like sky? Maybe it will take us to a world that, when crossed over, was made into what we know as Heaven. One more thing: We were told in the last episode that when a soul is taken by another wraith, it is transported to another realm. Of course, Cora could definitely have been lying, but… I don’t think so. I don’t think Aurora (no matter how much everyone hates her) would just forget about her true love being taken from her, knowing that there IS a possibility that she could try bringing him back. I don’t think anyone would. So, could the souls taken by wraiths be in a world accessed through the hat?
But the hat was burned.
So my question is: will we ever see our infamous room of doors again?November 29, 2012 at 6:15 am #162805wizard55ParticipantI never took a good look at all the doors. thanks for the screencaps. Interesting interesting….
I don’t think there would be a Storybrooke door, since it wasn’t created yet. Maybe a door goes to Dr. Whales world? hmmmm.

I found the exact door used for door #12 here. It is a door related to Buddhism and Hua Mulan (from the Northern Wei Dynasty a time when Buddhism was introduced from India). So is this giving a nod to both the historical and Disney version?
Door #13 leads to well if the curtains in OZ though I wonder what happens if we pull back the curtains. In the books it was a guy from Omaha.
Door #14 is to Wonderland
Door #15 told to us by the creators Willy WonkaOn to the others
Door #2 has more of a historical feel to the castle window
Door #4 I keep thinking Lord of the Rings Isengard
Door # 5 as others have said the bricks reminds me of Harry Potter
Door #6 has a porthole or mirror that reminds me of EF
Door #7 ?
Door #8 It has an Atlantis or Grecian feel to it
Door #9 Has an Arthurian feel to it
Door #10 It has a feel for hieroglyphs but also I get ancient civilization in a jungle somewhere
Door#11 I see a crow at the bottom but the very top seems to be a hooded person and they are spinning something around (possibly middle being hand and item being spun around it)–or a spiral as they are prevalent in many culturesNovember 29, 2012 at 9:27 am #162813ClessidorParticipant@An Empty Heart wrote:

hmm my first thought was Phantasien/Fantasia/Fantastika from the Neverending Story. In the book the parts which Bastian in the real world are printed in red ink and the parts with Atreyu in Fantasia are printed in green ink.
But the Neverending Story is not possible because of right issues. So my second thought was the magic green and yellow rings from the Narnia books which allows you to travel to other lands like Charn(where Jadis came from) and Narnia. But since I remember the green rings are that rings which can bring you back to the real world.
So I don’t have any idea which’s world door this one possibly could be.

So my question is: will we ever see our infamous room of doors again? The hat can still appear in flashbacks and possibly they will be able to make that other hat which Emma made to work.
Other thing I’m wondering: Is Jefferson the only portal jumper or are/was there more?
And is the hat the only way to get into the room of doors?βThere were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.β

But if there are two, or multiple, hats, would they ALL look the same on the inside?
January 16, 2013 at 1:44 pm #168648clockwatcherParticipantI was just thinking about this….
If Frankenstein’s black and white world is all about science and everything, do you think we’d be able to access it through one of the doors?
Remember, we still have the hat Emma made for Jeff, so I highly doubt we’ve seen the last of that room…
Especially since we'll be seeing Frankenstein's world in an upcoming episode -
