We finally met Dorothy! What did you think of the girl from Kansas? Do you think she was special in anyway? How did the Twister take her to Oz? And what did you think of her “relationship” with Zelena?

I wonder how long ago this took place. Is is possible that Dorothy is still alive in Kansas and her silver shoes are in her possession? I liked Dorothy but she could have become the good witch of the west. I think Glinda was just trying to fill a seat at her table. :o). Wish we saw Toto and the scarecrow, tin man & cowardly lion though.

I liked Dorothy, I don’t think she was ‘special’ in any way (you know with magic), but she was a nice take on the character (though I missed the lion, tin-man and scarecrow).

I’d love it if they track down an older Dorothy and ask her for the silver slippers. What a great idea!

I wanted to know if she’s still alive too. She was about 10 or 12 in the flashback, so she’d be in her late 50s now after all the Curse years.

I really liked Dorothy herself..but how sad not to see any sign of her traditional journey through Oz and the friends she met!

As for Dorothy’s age- if she is from a fictional version of our world as Alice is, she’d be frozen in time during the curse years.

I liked her. Would have been nice to see more of her, and get some answers as to how she happened to be brought to Oz via cyclone. If there was a prophecy about arrival via cyclone, it can’t be a thing that happens regularly.

Well the Oz flashbacks seemed to take place around the time of The Doctor since in the floor thingy we saw Rumple teaching Regina to take the heart from the unicorn.

Do they have a shortage of chairs in Oz? Couldn’t Glinda magic up another chair for Dorothy to sit in instead of making her sit in Zelena’s chair?

Dorothy was good, Glinda was sneaky.

It seems almost as if the other witches were setting Zelena up. Why did they keep the truth about the prophecy from Zelena? Did they give her the Western seat just so that Dorothy could come along and “unseat her”, thus fulfilling the prophecy?

And Glinda’s reaction when she saw Zelena melted into a puddle of green goo was much too dismissive and casual. She went from “nobody is taking your seat, Zelena” just a little while back to, “you’re one of us now, Dorothy”.

Have to feel sorry for Zelena, I think she actually faked her death as a test. Maybe if Glinda had shown more sisterly concern and sorrow over Zelena’s “demise”, she might still have turned back from her dark path.

Dorothy=Rapuzel.  Both shoehorned in and superfluous to the story.

It occurred to me after a second watching but Dorothy DID meet her 3 traditional companions. Each of the witches represented something: heart, courage, and knowledge. Those were the Tin Man, Lion, and Scarecrow. They just also happened to be the 3 witches.
