Sorry for the late reply. 🙂
Not really a fan of Captain Hook and Emma romantically. 🙂 Though I do think Captain Hook respects Emma.
Captain Hook learning how to take a heart–I think Cora may have taught him a bit. The only people we have seen be able to rip hearts out are Rumpelstiltskin, Cora, and Regina. Cora might have taken Captain Hook under her wing with a bit of magic. I doubt he could take Rumpelstiltskin’s heart–the only way to kill him would be the danger. Unless there is another way–the ink was able to bind his magic, perhaps there might be some other method to kill him.
Baelfire and Belle are both possible. I’d like to think that Captain Hook wouldn’t have it in him to hurt Baelfire–Milah may not have been a good mother, but Baelfire is still her son, and she did mention that she felt sorry for leaving him. I’d like to think that Baelfire would be off-limits in the battle. But Belle may be in danger, especially if he sees it an eye-for-an-eye.

November 29, 2012 at 1:31 am #162780elleParticipantThat is a good point. 🙂 It could be, though, that she was surprised that he would do that–considering that she assumed that he betrayed her for the others.
In the promo, we see that Captain Hook and Regina met. she could have taught him.
It could be that he will be tempted to kill Belle the same way Rumpelstiltskin killed Milah.
November 29, 2012 at 5:06 am #162802becParticipantI’m really confused with Hook taking Aurora’s heart. Because the producers stated that Hook doesn’t have magic when he was introduced. This is what makes me question that there is something else to it. Unless they’re just contradicting themselves..
I doubt Captain Hook will forget about his revenge. He has worked on this for centuries. Not even Emma could make him forget.
Obviously he wouldnt ‘forget’ about it straight away. But overtime his attraction for Emma will become stronger. And it has already been confirmed she will distract him from his revenge. Im thinking that something will happen to Emma which will make Hook realise his true feelings for her, and that would make him realise that he has to move on. Hook will probably never forget what Rumple did, and would probably never forgive him, but i think that Emma will open up those feelings that he thought he would never feel after Milah.
After all, this is Once Upon a Time, anything is possible!

Good point, since Regina said she could help Hook kill Rumple, she may’ve been to one to teach Hook the dark magic of taking a heart. Perhaps magic is not just an ability you’re born with, but one you can learn.

I’ve always thought that magic can be taught? I mean, even Regina had to have a teacher in Rumplestiltskin. He admitted she had a great potential she didn’t even know of but he still had to teach her how to use it. Therefore I’m convinced there are people out there who might have some magic potential and never discover it and learn to use it as well as people who might have no ‘potential’ whatsoever but be determined enough to learn some of it.
It’s like with any sport discipline, some have the ability to learn in and work hard to be good at it, to others it comes just as easily as breathing and for some they can never grasp it. -
