She'll enlist Doctor Whale/Frankenstein and maybe Jefferson to get to Frankensteins realm. She's going to have to learn the hard way that “dead is dead”..

So obviously Dr. Whale is from a different land? The comment to Charming that you are not my prince, and charming’s question of “who are you?” puts before us the idea that Dr. Whale isn’t from around here. So, how did he get caught by Regina’s curse? What land is he from?
So far the theories rotate around Peter Pan, Dr. Frankenstein, Hercules, Jafar, have even heard Gulliver from Gulliver’s travels… any more?
OK, so let’s add Wizard of Oz and Captain Hook to the list
Have also seen King Triton and Merlin as possibilities.
Well he’s not Captain Hook
I’m on the Dr. Frankenstein theory right now because of the promo but the “your not my prince” thing I’d say that means he’s from a different land. I think the curse destroyed all the lands bringing all of them to this world except for that corner of The Enchanted Forest that I’m theorizing was preserved by Cora
October 2, 2012 at 6:08 pm #155144faux paxParticipantI’m going with the Frankie theory. I’m pretty sure he can’t be tryton because his reveal in in epp five and they said that little mermaid story had to be pushed back.
I have an idea about why we haven’t seen anyone else from the other realms until the curse was broken. What if the curse only put the people from FTL in storybrook and everyone else was just brought to our world but not cursed (like Emma and August).
Jefferson was specifically punished by Regina and Whale looks like he and Regina knew each other from before, so maybe he has a similar punishment (or maybe they were friends so it was a reward) and that’s why those two were the only ones in Storybrook.

He would be a god himself and well the greek gods weren’t exactly the most faithful men in the world. As far as the Little Mermaid goes we never actually got to hear Triton’s background story or what happened to make Ursula so mad at him. As for age well, gods can take on any form they like..so he could appear to be whatever age he liked..
October 3, 2012 at 3:36 am #155213faux paxParticipantI guess. I still really like the Frankie theory and since his identity is going to be told on the halloween epp, i think it’s more likely.
I’m not sure how I feel about them bringing gods into it. It would seem like it was veering a bit too much into Percy Jackson territory.
October 3, 2012 at 3:42 am #155215zlfh4Participantand showing triton’s backstory wouldn’t necessarily have to be a little mermaid story, especially if they show it from the greek mythology standpoint…I mean it doesn’t look like we will necessarily be meeting Peter Pan right away though we will meet Captain Hook and learn his backstory so I don’t think it would be that big of a stretch, and as for retrieving souls if they play triton from greek mythology then they could easily tie in Hades who was the main villain in the Disney version of Hercules…so its not like Disney has never done greek mythology, especially with disney hyperion being the publishing company for both the percy jackson series and the lost heroes series. And ABC is a Disney owned company…
October 3, 2012 at 3:51 am #155217zlfh4ParticipantDon’t get me wrong..I like the Frankie theory too. It is just that he was introduced in the third episode of the season so they had an idea of who he was going to be from the beginning and most people who were introduced at the beginning, a lot of their names had to a lot to do with who their fairytale counterparts were except for maybe the dwarves and the huntsman. Then there was the whole god complex thing from untold stories..just makes more sense to me, especially the line where he said you are not my prince…just sounds like something a god would say..
