I want to see more of Whales’ world ( that phrase sounds like an amusement park!). Somehow from discussing Whale, this thread of conversation moved on to Bae’s fate, romantic relationships and people’s philosophies of how they root for what they do. All very interesting, good points made, but lest it get lost: More Whale is good! Anders is so game as an actor. The trouble is that his backstory in his world feels so disconnected from everyone else’s. So there are less connections and timeline revealed than during the FTL characters flashbacks, so the writers are limited with him. If his world is “Gothic” it does bring in a potentially interesting theme often explored in that genre of novels–to what extent do we bear the “sins” of previous generations? Cora after all pushes her animosity against Eva down to her daughter Snow. Regina carries on the feud. Malificient cursed Aurora and her mother. There must be more such stories.
On Tamara–what if she is a descendant of the original Wendy? ( There is actually a series of books for young readers authorized by Disney that I read to my daughter, that suggests Wendy’s line passes the tale and the “duty” of visiting Neverland for spring cleaning down from mother to daughter. It’s a cute series, Fairies and the Quest for Neverland by Gail Carson Levine is the one I saw. ) Of course then why would they not have revealed a last name as it would not be Darling? So I don’t think this is who Tamara is, but I kind of wish they were doing that.
Anyway…more Whale please!

And I don’t mind one more Whale flashback so long as it really fits with what is happening in *whatever land we happen to be in* 🙂
3) re Tamara: that would be interesting if she wasn’t Tink but a descendent of Wendy. They’re casting a Wendy (at least that’s what we assume) but there is nothing to suggest what time period they are putting her in. NealFire Pan could have visited the original Wendy in the time period Peter Pan is normally set in and then Tamara finds Neal centuries after Wendy, except that Pan’s grown up because he’s no longer in Neverland."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 10, 2013 at 10:47 pm #178790MysteryKat25Participant@RumplesGirl wrote:

David Anders is definitely growing on me. I hated the idea of Frankenstein but it worked in nicely and he’s much more likable now! Gotta admit, I did kinda love the FrankenWolf interaction and wouldn’t mind more of that. He was such a sleeze last year but they’d be alright now. Before FrankenWolf was coined all I could think of was MonsterMash.
Also re: Wendy…Peter could easily have kept visiting subsequent generations and then either finally left or got stuck in our world when the curse hit. If he did just get stuck here, maybe it wasn’t to stay with whatever Wendy generation but he did know them and eventually found his way back to the current one. Still kinda hoping there’s a connection to Morraine in there somewhere at the start of the Wendy line maybe. Would explain a gravitation toward Wendy if she reminds him of Morraine who he was obviously concerned about. Although that still begs the question of why be associated with anybody who relates in any way to the FTL world since he doesn’t seem to like that much…but if it were a Wendy descendant instead of say, Tink or Tiger Lily, then it would still be a real-world person who happens to understand him a little rather than an actual FTL person.
Otherwise he’s just a total hypocrite and maybe Emma does have a decent read on him. He can be charming when he wants but he hurt her badly just because Pinocchio knew who he was and he didn’t want to have anything to do with the people of FTL and was upset that she was one of them / wanted her to find her family but he didn’t want his family to find him. Can’t wait to see how this mess plays out. So much potential. (If it were easy, we wouldn’t have a show).

Interesting indeed. So far all I could find that relates to any it (but is probably way off – though we know that David Anders like to be obscure but technically give clues…):
1. Allan Knee is one of the writers from Finding Neverland
2. There’s a song by a band called All Time Low called “Somewhere in Neverland” which has awesome lyrics about running away with Wendy and “I can be your lost boy” which I thought was going to have the answer but they have another song called “Get Down on Your Knees and Tell Me You Love Me” which is how I found the other song by accident.Either way thought I’d share!

Also we know David Anders gave the Sting reference last time around for the Dr. Frankenstein thing so…music is kinda his thing…
Also just the song title “Somewhere in Neverland” could be a HUGE clue for this ep!
Edited with a better link.

On my knees = “all time low” which is also a band who sings “Somewhere in Neverland = where the character is in that episode?
I will be absolutely floored if I got one of his mysterious tweets / musical connections right but you never know.
