Wait, when did this happen? I recall he was actually trying to get Henry out of town to get him away from Zelena. Still a reckless move, though.

Didn’t Hook give Henry to Zelena that time when they killed that flying monkey in the barn and Elena tried to choke henry? I recall he tried to put him on that boat, but wasn’t that because Zelena had told him to bring Henry to her to get at Emma or something?</p>

No. He gave him to Smee to take him to NYC

Some have brought up the possibility that the returning character isn’t a full returning character, but rather a returning persona of a current character. This person being the Evil Queen. Lana’s response at a convention this weekend points to this possibility:

On Evil Regina: "She is making an appearance coming up soon."

The flashbacks for the finale seem like they’ll be Jekyll/Hyde centric, so that leans towards the Evil Queen being incorporated in the present day. What I think could happen is that Regina somehow ends up taking Jekyll’s potion, and this causes her to transform into her old Evil Queen self. So Regina could go back and forth between her current self and the Evil Queen. This way the writers get to re-introduce the Evil Queen back into the present without undoing Regina’s character development. I’m mixed on this possibility. A lot of this sounds like it’d be a repeat of the Spell of Shattered Sight, but if done right, this could be intriguing.

Based off tonight’s 5×20, we can go ahead and take Pan off the list

But that is not unexpected at all, bc no matter what Regina always will be the Evil queen, and the fact that JMo says is a character that no one expects, sort of rules out Evil Queen, even tho she probably will continue to appear on flashbacks. Unless they go now, after destroying Rumple character, they will destroy Regina making her do bad things without remember, bc that is totally a thing Evil regals will love. Im still going with Tink or with Violet staying for s6

Given TVGuide’s newest article, I’m guessing JMo is referring to the EQ’s return.

Maybe it is the dragon, wasn’t there some pictures of Rumpel somewhere that made people think that. I think it could be any random whomever of no importance.

Given what has been revealed since this interview came out, pretty sure Emma is describing Regina as the Evil Queen (probably via the Jekyll/Hyde potion)
