KeymasterBethany: I don’t want to wait until March for more Once Upon a Time, I need some scoop now!
Spinoff, ahoy! We’ve seen the magical Once Upon a Time spinoff in Wonderland, but wouldn’t it be fun to take a deeper peak at the dark and dangerous world of Neverland? Robbie Kay, who plays the mischievous Peter Pan, certainly things so! “That is certainly an amazing prospect. If the opportunity were to arise, I would love to pursue that opportunity,” the actor spills. “I mean that would be a brilliant concept as a show, especially as Wonderland has been doing relatively well. So Neverland as a realm could certainly have a lot of exploration. It’s a very expansive environment, so that would be very, very interesting.” Would you watch a Neverland spinoff? Erm. No? I can assure you that WL, while being allowed to play out its 13 episodes, did not do “relatively well”
PS: this is the most random scoop in the history of ever….?

LOL Guess he couldn’t really say, “Spinoff isn’t likely considering their first attempt at a spinoff is totes tanking in the ratings.”
It is rather random for them to have used that to answer the question. I’d think that if they have more NL story they plan to tell, they’d just tell it on the main show in flashbacks in future eps.

ParticipantI think we should leave the spinoff alone for a very long while. Wonderland is a good show but until they conjure up something that actually rival Once, then they would be doing themselves a disservice.
Pan is a great villain. But just like with Rumpel, if we see too much of him, he will lose his luster.
Now if HOOK got his own spin off, I would LOVE that. Why? Because Hook is a pirate. He travels, he steals, he encounters so many people in so many places, and of course Pan is still the villain. That has potential. If set as some sort of prequel (for the winter hiatus) that leads up to him meeting Mila, I would watch v.v Who else is with me?

Yeah I think this is a case of “we have nothing to tell but we need to fill out the article”

And this is another reason why the can’t do a NL spin off: Hook is on ONCE. How do you have an NL spinoff without Captain Hook??
Yeah..E! was just trying to fill space on a webpage.

ParticipantNeverland without Hook? No thanks. Hook is on Once. Once without Hook? No thanks. He’s why I watch.
If I were A&E, I’d wait until Once is wrapped up before even thinking of something like this, and sorry, but story-lines pre-OUAT aren’t going to make the grade.

ParticipantA spin-off would have made sense but not now after the WL disaster. OUAT is an ensemble show, with a lot of main cast and side-characters, plus it sort of should feature many guest stars in order to give us that sprawling feel of new twists on old fairy-tale and other classic stories. Hook fans would anchor the new show, and if some stopped watching OUAT that would trade off with the fans who are fatigued by character. It could have worked well too with a later time slot and being more “more grown-up, racier OUAT that they wanted for WL. If Wl had worked, it could have made both shows stronger–and I think a show about Hook might have been able to do that better than WL without Hatter did.
We barely found out anything about Tinkerbell and Pan’s relationship, or how Wendy got back into NL, or Smee–but instead we met a brother that was never foreshadowed and probably will never see or hear about again, because we have so many other stories to visit. If a show had done the same parallel of past and present, and all that it could have done very well.
With Wl having failed, plus OUAT ‘s slide in ratings though–I don’t think anyone needs to worry about it actually happening though.

ParticipantI don’t need a Spinoff of NL. Just maybe a short movie about the Arriving of Felix in NL at the extra Disk of Once, A episode with Tink, Hook, Peter Pan and Felix, that is something i would want to see.

ParticipantSomeone please tell me what’s there to tell about Neverland??? What’s in Neverland!!!!!!!!!!! A forest about a ju gle would be too much replica of Lost… but if WL wasn’t such a disaster and Pan was a good guy…it could have probably worked. But it could definitely work if done correctly, and written with an awesome storyline. But…no idea how many seasons it would last…max four seasons!
Core Cast if the show was made:
Captain Hook (All the Hooksters would go to this show thus the end of CaptainSwan, Colin OD would have his own show.)
Tinkerbelle (All the Tinkers would go to this show and ship CaptainFairy like crazy…Rose MCI would have her own show.)
Wendy Darling (Give more insight on her relationship with the others)
Young Baelfire (More info on his past, and conflicts with Hook and Pan)
Peter Pan (Robbie Kay was definetly great as Peter Pan, and him having his own show would be nice.)
Felix (Some enjoyed him…some didn’t…but he was entertaining.)

ParticipantI sort of want it, but sort of don’t.
If it were to happen, an advantage that it would have would be that viewers would already be familiar with the main cast – unlike Wonderland when that first started.
But it would mean that Colin would have to leave OuaT. I personally don’t have a problem with that because he wasn’t in the first season (Or half of the second season when he broke his leg) so it has already been proven that the show can run fine without him.
However I don’t want another spin-off until they fix the problems with the main show – mostly do something to draw in more viewers. If they keep dropping like they are, the show might be facing the possibility of being axed after Season 4.
