— from the Neverending Story by Michael EndeI actually could see Adam & Eddy using stuff from Return to Oz. They love referencing the 80s, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re fans of Return to Oz.
I adored the movie Return to Oz so I’m on board if they use things from it! Excited to get some confirmation that Oz is coming (although most of us guessed it would be coming soon anyway) and hopefully they lay the groundwork for things in this second part of S3 using flashbacks with S4 being the REAL trip to Oz to hopefully beat up on a bad guy or two. Glad I’m not the only one looking forward to flying monkeys too! 😉
#MoreBOOMLessGloomJust realized something: In Oz the great and powerful, Glinda is the daughter of the original king of Oz, who prophesied that a man would come from the sky to rule them after he was dead.
If Blue is Glinda, and the witch is the Disney version, Theodora, then we may get answers about why the stories have been in our land: Because either he or she or someone was telling the future. Remember Blues line, “Our story will be revealed”. That sounds very suspicious to me. Idk… Just throwing that out there *throws theory*

And ALSO, If Blue is Glinda then it could be that the black fairy is the wicked witch’s sister, Evanora (the witch of the east) who Glinda banishes from the Emerald City

Perhaps Blue found Glinda’s wand and turned herself into the blue fairy! I really don’t want Sneaky Blue to be Sneaky Glinda!!!! I LOVED GLINDA!!!!!
I’d much prefer Kristin Chenoweth’s Wicked Version of good and honest Galinda…I mean Glinda!
But as much as I love Margret Hamilton and Mila Kunis’s Wicked Witches of the West!
I’m gonna have to say that I’d much prefer to see Wicked’s Idina Menzel’s version of the Wicked Witch of the West Elphaba….but only if they do her justice! Not skipping like they did Ariel! If they do Elphaba…please get the facts straight that she was framed, and she’s not Wicked! Elphaba is misunderstood! If they don’t well I’d prefer for them to use Theodora’s version instead.

Glinda? “Its G(a)Linda… With a GAH” 😛 and then when the Goat tries to pronounce it xDD (Wicked references) Anyway, Glinda was kind of a ditz in the musical. Not as much in the novel tho. I think if Blue isn’t Glinda, id like to see a darker version of her from the 1939 film or the Wicked novel (though I can imagine the wicked version of her being a younger Blue for some reason?). Glinda in the books was almost goddess like, so I can really imagine her being connected with Blue
