Cora wouldn’t help Eva at all, she hates her that much.

Even if she thought she could bring about Eva’s downfall that way? But Eva somehow wound up slipping out of it? I always thought Cora’s hatred for Eva was more than could be explained by what we’ve seen.

I don’t know. 🙂 But I do think that people might be barking up the wrong tree with thinking Leo’s “not afraid to open his heart, coveting more from marriage than just a political arrangement” meant that true love was Eva. He may have loved her by the time we saw them, but he might not have started out that way. There might have been a spell, or something might have happened to his first love. (And he just came to love Eva over the years.)

It seems like first loves/true loves is a theme we’re seeing in OUAT lately. (Eerrgh, I hope they don’t apply that to SwanFire. :P)

What if WWW and Leo were in love … and Leo intended to follow his heart and marry her … but Eva wanted him and went to Cora for a love potion? Cora would adore having her hated rival in her debt.

Yes but I think Cora would love to see Eva suffer without love more, especially since Cora is now heartless (literally)

Something had to have happened to Eva to change her from the snob that she was in Miller’s  daughter to the kind and gracious person who is Snow’s mother. I’m not sure what that is for Eva, but I think we’ll see that here. Maybe true love or Leopold’s influence. Maybe a tragedy like losing a child or having difficulty getting pregnant.

    True. Hmm.

I’d swear there has to be more story there, from the Eva who tripped Cora, to the Eva who was so beloved as Leo’s queen and Snow’s mother. Something changed. But what? And could this be connected? This would seem to be the right timeframe for it, but that’s a lot to weave together.

Not that that’s ever stopped OUAT before …

It could be Leo’s influence but it could just be growing up. I never really saw Eva as anything more than a typical princess teenager. She grew up, learned a few lessons and became an adult.

Yes. Young Cora, Young Leopold, and Young Eva (whom we met in “The Miller’s Daughter” very briefly.)

Well that makes an interesting love triangle doesn’t it?

Do we ever know if Robert has been Rumblfied during filming of an episode?

That might bring some things to light.
