Ok, I need to talk this out:
So Cinderella’s mother had Ella with some undisclosed man. That man died or abandoned them or something along those lines and then Ella married another man with whom she apparently had True Love. Ella considers this man to be more like a father to her than her biological one. Ella’s mother died in Wonderland and Ella’s (step) father was broken by this but married Lady Tremaine at some point and had Drizella and Anastasia? It must have been pretty soon after losing Ella’s mother because Ella and Drizella are fairly close in age UNLESS Drizella is Lady Tremaine’s and not Ella’s step father’s–only Ana is?
So the questions!
–Who is Ella’s biological father and does it matter?
–Who is Drizella’s father?
–Who put the Curse of the Poison Heart on Ella’s mother and step father?

I don’t think that will ever matter.
Who is Drizella’s father?
I was hoping it was Hook, but nope apparently not. Since she has magic and her mom does not maybe her dad has some kind of magic?
Who put the Curse of the Poison Heart on Ella’s mother and step father?
I don’t know why but I assumed it was Gothel, I guess we had no evidence of it but since Gothel put the same curse on Hook and Alice’s hearts I just assumed it was hers.

Then the two get married and they are step sisters. They are not actually biologically related, as in have the same father.
Though, i agree that because Tremaine seems to favor Anastasia, that it seems more likely that Anastasia and Drizella have different fathers. I still think Victoria is Rapunzel and so Anastasia is the child of her true love, whomever that will end up being, and Drizella is her child with someone else. Though maybe not. She may just be a terrible mother.
I think some of this is going to have to be important. You would think who Ella’s biological father was would be important since that was mentioned, otherwise why even have that be a plot point? Also, who the father of Victoria’s children are has to be important. We have to find out how Alice got out of the tower and how Victoria kidnapped Gothel and who did the curse and all of that is going to go down with who is related to who.

The fact that he was mentioned but only that he wasn’t in the picture but not confirmed dead makes me suspicious. That sounds like something the writers would keep open in order to play with it later, if they get more seasons.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"November 18, 2017 at 12:22 pm #344689hjbauParticipantYeah, as far as i am concerned, it was not confirmed that either of Ella’s biological parents are dead. Alice lies and makes up stories, so nothing she says can be trusted, and they didn’t explain what happened to Ella’s father just said he was a different person then her adopted father.
They may not play with that not, but they certainly left it open ended.

At this point I have no idea who is who’s daughter/father/mother/step-whatever in this particular family. It’s all a mess and if the writers can actually write their way into making this family tree interesting I’ll applaud them.
