Figured we should start speculating Elsa officially.

So what we know:
–Elsa, is the Snow Queen. Originally in HCA’s tale, she has become known from Disney’s “Frozen”
–In Frozen, Elsa is gifted with the power of ice and snow at birth
–In Frozen, Elsa has a younger sister Anna
–In Frozen, Elsa has a hard time controlling her powers
–In Frozen, Elsa is Queen of Arendelle.
–In ONCE, Elsa was trapped in Rumple’s vault in an urn

So: what is Elsa’s history with Rumple and our other characters? Does Anna still exist? And what does Elsa want in S4?

Ok so now I think I can give my big Theroy. So if were getting Elsa I really hope we get Anna or at least someone to be Anna. And for some odd reason I really don’t have any proof or clues to back this up but I think Anna will be …..Belle…Yes, the reason I think this is because if you think about it kind of makes sense. Belle is very Anna like, not only because of the light brown hair but also because of just the sense of adventure and fun. Now another reason I think this is because if we remember Frozen when Anna wanted Elsa blessing to marry the prince Elsa said no. So if Elsa and Belle are related when Elsa finds out who Belle married she will of course be very unhappy because of it. (I mean how would you feel if you sister married the guy who locked you up in a bottle). Now I think at first the relationship between Rumple and Elsa will be “Icy” but I think Elsa is going to show Belle that Rumple has the real dagger and the one she has is a fake. Which leads into  this scenarios

 

Scenario  Rumbelle drama, followed Belle getting frozen in ice by accident. Rumple freaks out, Rumple tries to save Belle and in process shows Elsa the good in him. Ending with Rumbelle happiness and new Season 4B Villain somehow.

• Elsa is the love child of Rumplestiltskin and Glinda the Good Witch
• Elsa is Snow’s older sister, concealed by Eva and Leopold for fear of freezing the Enchanted Forest
• Elsa is the sister of Will Scarlett, who was up until recently a genie
• Elsa is the older sister of Anastasia, who goes by Ana for short. They are also the step-sisters of Ashely, otherwise known as Cinderella.

Of all the possibilities I listed, I think the last one is actually the most likely.

Elsa is the older sister of Anastasia, who goes by Ana for short. They are also the step-sisters of Ashely, otherwise known as Cinderella.

I think this one makes a lot of sense and I can totally see them going this route with Will coming to ONCE

I, too, like the idea of Elsa being Anastasia’s sister. (Though I do have to wonder who were the two stepsisters that Ashley had in season 1, since it couldn’t have been either Elsa or Anastasia.)

I think that Elsa has magic that is neither light nor dark, but something completely different. Didn’t Rumpelstiltskin say that his vault was for magic that even he couldn’t comprehend? He can comprehend good/evil, light/dark. But something completely different? Something completely alien to the magical dichotomy we’ve had ever since season 1. I can see Rumpel trying to lock that away.

Didn’t Will also tell Alice that he had a sister who was frozen to death when he was still a boy? Except maybe she didn’t…

My theory is that Elsa is after Hook, bc he was Anna’s Hans.

Her being Ana’s sister is probably the most likely option just because An(n)a.

I’d have to go back and check but I think Will’s sister fell through some weak ice on a lake and then drowned? It was only a fleeting mention of her, so I could see them expanding on it.

I think I prefer the idea of her being Belle’s sister the most, just because Rumbelle is already a hot mess with the secrets and lies, so having Belle discover she has a sister when said sister is coming for revenge against Rumple for having locked her up would be the icing on the angst cake. It would also give Belle someone else to connect to on an emotional level, and a way for them to show her character grow.

Yes, only problem is that her named was Penelope though.

I would love it if Belle’s family go to be expanded a bit.
